hiii it's another LIAB drawing! Just two boys chillin on a tree and nothingg bad is gonna happen.
Well this one just happened on it's own. I swear I opened PS to get some work done and then next thing I know the boys were sitting there.
Did I get the work done? nope. Do I have regrets? absolutely not.
I do wanna get to draw more recent scenes so that's yet to come ♥ obsessed with this fic as always @ssreeder you're so talentedd

Can I talk for a moment about how zuko had to sit in his room and craft this bs plushie thingie for his appa mission?

Which in turn means that he has thought through at least the beginning of this mission 😮
Can we also talk about him being a literal prince? What kind of prince is so good at sewing (and it's really well done, especially the face is pretty accurate). He definitely either had a few hundred attempts or already had experience — maybe we've just discovered his secret hobby?
Yess It wasn't even such a bad plan! 💙The beginning of it that is heheh
Ohh and I'm not sure which scenario I prefer, both are amazing. Cuz him having a secret sewing and puppet making hobby ties beautifully to the whole theatre nerd thing.
And on the other hand I also love the idea of him sitting there for 48 hours giving it wayy too much effort (And you just know meanwhile Aang was passing right outside his window hanging his flyers )
Fr, both ideas are very appealing.
I could really imagine that Zuko's mother knew how to sew so she could make her own theater costumes and puppets and that she would have taught her children to do so. (Or at least Zuko, Azula probably would have just burned the yarn.) And after Ursa disappeared, Zuko would have continued sewing in secret to feel close to her.
But I also love the idea of him holed up in the apartment for ages and struggling with needle and thread. And in the end, he would have created a doll that met his requirements. Along with about 100 unfinished attempts, which he abandoned in frustration and now has to somehow hide from his uncle. (And now I'm imagining Uncle Iroh opening Zuko's closet that night in search of his favorite Pai Sho stone, only to be buried under unfinished dolls.)
Oh, Absolutely. And now I had to make this
