Even smelling the alcohol coming from his pores, Beth couldn’t help grabbing onto him, hugging him close. “Christian,” she whispered, nuzzling him and crying. Her hand cradled his cheek gently. “I’ve… I’ve missed you too, honey. I’ve been worried about you.” Looking inside, she saw bottles strewn around the living room, making her stomach turn. “Oh Christian, what… what happened to you?” she sighed. “Why did this happen?”

             He caught a glimpse of where her gaze now lay and returned her eyes to his as if it would distract her from all debris despite how his eyes gave way to his drunken state no matter how hard he tried to fight it off.  The pounding of his heart grew harder and louder now not only because of the last bottle of liquor he polished off just a few short hours ago but in fear that if she saw the upstairs and how disheveled t was now with stray bottles carelessly left, she may just leave forever. Just at the thought, his hands now at her waist began to tremble. "Nothing happened darling," he assured her with a strong breath afterward, "I-I'm just going through a rough patch in my career, surely you must know, right?" The trembling of his hands seeped through to his laugh, "Baby ev-everyone has gone through it li-like... Lindsey Lohan or-or RDJ come on itt's not..it's not anything to make a fuss about my love," He began to lead her in, shutting the door behind before bringing her to his chest and holding her tight, afraid if he dared to let go she may leave forever- or at least a few more weeks just as before.   "Oh honey you have no- no idea in hell how much I have missed you," he whimpered while pecking a kiss to her cheek and lips. "I-I've felt so empty a-and useless the past few weeks... without you I-I'm nothing"
