Question to people who have read Vampire Academy and are watching the new show on Peacock: Is it worth it to watch? I want to enjoy it but I tried watching it the other day and was turned off by the changes they made to certain characters(i.e Mia and Sonya and Natalie’s non-existence) and just confused how they’ll work in their subplots later. So is it good enough to watch despite the changes or should I skip?

P.S. if you’re gonna say anything about the cast and their appearances, don’t bother. I’m not interested in listening to people try to justify their racism and character appearance is the change that has the least amount of consequence to me. I’m much more concerned about the plot changes.

As a HUGE fan of the books (just finished rereading them) I am LOVING this show. Yeah, with the changes they made, it will be hard to incorporate plot points from the book later (if that is the route they want to go) but truly, love the show and hope the rest of the season is good and we get a season 2.
