A Drop of Black Coffee in the Pot: I have to include this one because it so near and dear to my heart. It was my first longfic, and writing it helped me through an insanely difficult time. The research also influenced little lifestyle changes. I just said this on another asked and answered, but I actually started drinking pourovers.
Heaven's on Fire: There's just something about this ChuuAtsu Band AU fic that has stuck with me. Maybe it's being able to use all the 80s music references. Maybe it's Atsushi finding himself. Maybe it's Chuuya quitting his job. Whatever the reason, I still really treasure the experience of writing this one.
Somewhere Else You'd Rather Be: I wrote this at the end of my year of ChuuRan, a ship that I hadn't written before, using prompts from Year of the OTP's event. A few scenes in that fic really tug at my heart strings, especially when Ranpo finally tells his family about his relationship with Chuuya. Oh, yeah, and also because they were roommates.
A Man of Principle: I have to mention HoshiKaf on this list. Kafka is probably one of my favorite anime protagonists, and Hoshina is a delight. (Yes, I still need to watch season 2. I'm terrible at consuming media.) Plus, the idea of Mina getting so tired of Hoshina's pining, she sends them on a mission to get sloshed and confess is hilarious.
Even When You Fall Apart: I quite literally just wrote and published this fic after a week-long break from writing. The idea of Atsushi crying because Akutagawa calls him a taco (never mind that Akutagawa is trying to make him feel better, not worse) is priceless, and writing shy Akutagawa/experienced Atsushi was entertaining even though the most indecent thing they did beyond exchanging innuendos was holding hands on their first date.
