âso, youâre stefanâs daughter?â  elena was waiting for stefan to come back from upstairs, and had wandered into his kitchen.  âiâm surprised iâve never met you before.â sheâd been to stefanâs regularly since sheâd started working at the clinic, to deliver him blood bags, so that he wouldnât have to hunt.  âiâm elena by the way.â she held out her hand toward luna, a smile in place on her lips. Â

sheâd had over a thousand years to lose this quirk, to find a way to work through things and yet siobhan had never even wanted to try. she wasnât hurting anyone and as long as that remained she would be okay. âwell i donât want salt but if you really do i can ask nicely for some more.â though she knew that people might be annoyed at her for it. âdo you need some salt, brother?â
--
mack rolled his eyes at her, shaking his head.  âi donât need any salt. i prefer pepper, actually.â truth be told, they probably didnât have the seasoning that he actually wanted for his fries.  âiâll just use pepper and ketchup.â he told her, brushing some of the salt from the table, into his hand, and depositing it into his empty beer bottle.  âwhat have you even been up to lately, it seems like itâs been weeks since we talked.â
âAâŚripper,â she repeated the words, her voice very unsure as they left her lips. âI donât know whether to feel comforted or concerned that Iâm not the only person that gruesomelyâŚâ she shook her head, realizing that he said runs in the blood. âWere you a ripper too? So I donât have to murder anyone? Eventually Iâll learn and this will be under control?â She sounded so hopeful, almost as if she could live a manageable life. Except that she remembered that she was on an island and her old life was as good as gone now. âEverything was happening so fast, but I donât think he was in his right frame of mind, but then again I donât know what his frame of mind actually is since I donât know him. Just from the bits of conversation that was happening surrounding my near imminent death. Donât worry though he let me go.â She shook her head when he apologized. âI know. You tried, you gave it a very valiant effort, but Iâm starting to think that ending up here,â she gestured between the two of them to mean vampirism, âis an inevitability as a Salvatore.â She bit the inside of her cheek before she admitted, âNow that Iâm here, on this strange island. I feel like itâs only appropriate to be Sarah Salvatore, since Sarah Nelson died. If thatâs okay? And maybe I could learn more about you? And the Salvatores? And Damon?âÂ
âOh? So you have a connection, and here Iâve been leaving severed limbs in dumpsters in hopes that it doesnât get traced back to me. Because I donât know how to hide a body. I have so much to learn from you.âÂ
--
âiâm still a ripper.â he told her, âits kind of like being an alcoholic, and iâll be in recovery for as long as iâm walking the earth.â a pause for a moment, as he thought about the explaination that he was giving her.  âit really only takes one slip up to bring us right back to it.â he really hated to explain it to her that way, but that happened to be the gist of their problem.  âiâll help you though. iâve been brought out of my ripper phases more than once, and even if it is a hard journey, itâs much easier when you have someone beside you, who believes that you can do it.â
when she mentioned that sheâd started using his last time, he gave her a smile, âyour father would be glad, i think.â he stopped for a second, before he continued.  âhe may not have wanted you to be a vampire, but i think that heâd be glad to know that youâre okay, and most definitely proud of all that you had accomplished, before coming to this place.â a dry laugh left his lips, âiâll introduce you to elena. sheâll hook us up with blood bags for you, until you learn moderation.â
(¸.⢠â â alright, maybe he was feeling something and maybe it was time to just tell the truth, hopefully he was going to believe her. a sigh escaped from her lips with her gaze now on the other one, nodding at what he said. âyeah, okayâŚi will tell you but you need to just listen.â she really wanted vincent to remember her because she was starting to feel really alone in this place and it truly sucks not having her friends here.
âi did know you.â the brunette commented with her gaze on the other one. âwe were from new orleans, you were part of the coven there and we were friends.â thatâs a very short explanation but their lifes were complicated to just explain all of it. âthis town does thisâŚsome people just forget some thingsâŚâ
--
ânew orleans?â heâd waited till she was finished, before he spoke, but new orleans wasnât even a place that heâd ever heard of.  âi donât....â a deep breath was taken, his mouth fixing in a straight line as he contemplated what the younger witch had said.  âi was right though, we did know each other. i canât believe that i would forget a whole other life, but truth be told, i donât remember anything that happened before six years ago.â
thoughts ran through vincentâs head, as he wondered what else he had forgotten. what if he had an entire family out there somewhere that he didnât remember. that would be something he couldnât forgive himself for.  âi just.....â he trailed off, âwe were really friends, and this was before we were on this island?â
To say Bonnie was surprised when she heard that familiar voice was an understatement. âElena!â she jumped up and dropped the book out of excitement. âOh I think I have an idea.â She grinned, but that grin faded when she heard her friendâs next words.
âWhat do you mean, a new daylight ring?â Elena had gone back to being human, right? At leastâŚin Mystic Falls she did. âElenaâŚPlease, donât tell meâ youâre a vampire again?â
--
elena gave bonnie a sad smile.  âi donât know how iâm a vampire again, but i definitely am.â she really didnât like it much, but at this point, there wasnât anything that she could do about not being one.  âi was an old woman, died holding hands with my children and grandchildren, bon.â she paused, taking a deep breath before she spoke again.  ânext thing i knew, i was waking up here on this island, young again.... and a vampire.â
shoulders pulled up in a quick shrug.  âiâve been taking the later shifts at the clinic, so i donât have to be out during the day, but once i heard this shop made daylight rings, i decided i needed to check it out.â

(¸.⢠â â âi can only imagine.â the blonde commented, not really wanting to bother much stefan with all this information, she can understand this can be too much to process for him. she wonders the same thing because she would love to have the stefan she married here with her, she missed him a lot and she was so happy that he was alive here.
this time the blonde just squeezed gently his hand and nodded. âof course, anything you need.â because she really would like to just share everything they have lived together, even the bad things but he had the right to remember. âi didnât offer before because i really didnât want to overwhelm you.â the girl began saying. âthere are amazing things, stefan, but you also need to know that not everything was amazing, for exampleâŚwe didnât really start our relationship likeâŚin a good way.âÂ
--
âi think at this point, iâm beyond being overwhelmed by anything.â he told her, a slow smile growing on his lips.  âi mean, i have dealt with a lot of surprises from unknown people since iâve gotten to this island, and at least youâre someone that i trust.â never before could he have pictured himself winding up with caroline forbes, but with her sitting here in front of him, things were starting to come to light. caroline had changed a lot in the years that heâd known her, and obviously being a mother had changed her even further. Â
âi want to know everything though.â he spoke softly, âeven the bad stuff. i canât know or even begin to remember what it was that we had, if i donât know the good and the bad.â he knew that she wouldnât lie to him, and thatâs why he would trust her with telling him everything.  âthatâs exactly why i need to know everything, because then maybe i wonât make the same mistakes again.â
âOh thank goodness. Sounded weird when I said the first time,â she tried to joke. âIs it always soâŚintense? The hunger? And when you do feed is it normal to feel like youâre insatiable to the point where the person might not exactly be whole when youâre done?â Sarah had not been so proud of that. She felt like it was overkill in a way that she couldnât stop herself. That the person would be in pieces. âThank you, I feel like Iâm definitely going to need the help. I didnât get to learn much about all of this beforeâŚâ Sarah shook her head. His question was one that she couldnât answer. It was one she didnât truly know the answer to. âIâm afraid thatâs the blur. The thing I donât remember. Last thing I remember was being in a room with you and your brother, who was trying to kill me. You talked him down, he let me go. You said run and thatâs where it ends for me. I donât know if it was before I got here, or after I got here. I donât know who or why or if they were trying to save me or what. When I woke up I knew what I was I just had little to nothing else to go on. Maybe I died, or well obviously I had to die. I just donât know if it was there or here.â
She took the flask he was offering, tilting it to her lips. She took a generous gulp of the blood mixed liquid. âI like your style whiskey is a favorite of mine.â And she felt the craving calm. It didnât quite subside, but it wasnât all encompassing as she took another drink. âOf course something means someone, doesnât it?â she asked knowingly.Â
--
when sarah mentioned the hunger, her words turned his stomach.  âyouâre a ripper....â heâd been there, and he knew he could help her through this, if she wanted him to.  âit must be something that runs in our blood. iâve been there too, and trust me when i say, its not an easy thing to get through, but with a little concentration, you can train yourself to stop before that happens.â he told her,  âwait....â he allowed himself a moment to go over in his mind what sheâd just said, before he spoke again, âdamon tried to kill you?â stefan had known that this would happen if damon ever met sarah, which is why heâd always tried to keep his brother, and vampires in general, away from zachâs daughter. stefanâs brows furrowed together, âiâm sorry sarah. i really never wanted this life for you.â
he chuckled when she asked about their meal being someone, and he shook his head.  âwell, i have blood bags at my house.â he leaned in, going a little quieter, âi may have stolen them from the hospital, but donât tell anyone, or iâll lose my connection.â
Picking at the salt packets in her hand Siobhan was more than aware that she was making a mess. Some called it a nervous tick, one that sheâd held since she had been young, always needing to be doing something with her hands even if it was for the short amount of time between ordering her burger and it actually arriving. Feeling someoneâs eyes on her the blonde looked up from her absent playing and simply asked, âwhat?â
@havenstartersâ
mack watched his sister, watched as she destroyed the salt packets, as heâd seen her do so many times before. he just shook his head when she spoke, one brow raising in her direction.  ânothing.â he chuckled, gesturing toward the waiter who was approaching with their food.  âwhat salt are you going to put on your fries now that youâve wasted all the packets, dear sister?â
Bonnie was sitting behind the counter at Witchipedia, looking through one of the books, while waiting for a customer. No one knew, because she would never admit it, but she was still looking for a spell. And not just any spell, but a spell that could get her back to Mystic Falls. Up until now, she didnât have any luck yet; but Bonnie didnât give up that fast.
She was so lost in her own world and the spells in the book that she didnât hear the bell chime above the door, notifying that a customer had come in. She just stayed with her head in the book.
--
elena pulled open the door, taking a step inside and making sure the door was closed before she pulled down the hood on her jacket.  âbonnie?!â elena was elated to see her friend, and had to contain herself from running toward the counter to embrace her.  âyou have no idea how good it is to see a familiar face.â
she reached the counter, her eyes still focused on bonnieâs face. she hated to ask this, especially when it was the first time sheâd seen her friend in months.  âi need a new daylight ring, bon.â she pulled out her credit card, âand then maybe i can take you to dinner, and we can catch up?â
Vodka bottle in hand and a kind smile, Landon asks politely while shifting his stance to speak to the customers at Blue Lagoon, âCan I make anyone another drink?â
mack nodded, sliding his empty glass across the counter toward the bartender, âiâll take a drink, but i definitely prefer scotch over vodka.â he gestured to the bottles behind the bar.  âif you keep my glass full, thereâs a nice tip in it for you.â

âBack home,â Damon answered, like it was the most apparent thing in the world. âThe only thing Iâm trying to escape from is this island.â It was a lot different then trying to get away from a crazy ex girlfriend. When he got home, he hoped that ex girlfriend would be dealt with. âThereâs something wrong with this place. Canât you feel that?â
--
âi donât feel anything.â vincent told him, shaking his head.  âbut this place is my home. all of my memories are of this place, so i guess i wouldnât want to go anywhere else.â shoulders pulled up in a quick shrug, âi know a lot of people whoâve tried to get off this island, and not one of them has managed. maybe its time to get used to being here.â
Sarah heard her name, which caused her to halt. It wasâŚwas it Stefan. She focused on what he was telling her. Deep breaths, focused on his voice, and the hope that she would get through it. She truly hoped she would. It wasnât as though she could retrace her steps back. Her life had ended and what was left was this existence that she had now. In a strange place, but how was he here? This wasnât Mystic Falls. She turned around slowly, feeling the hunger subside.Â
âS-Stefan? Youâre here?â she asked, confusion coloring her tone. âOr I guess should I call you Uncle Stefan?â she asked, trying to focus on something other than how raw her throat felt, craving blood. âI donât know how Iâm going to get through this, truly. Iâm always hungry and itâs disappointing that cheeseburgers wonât satisfy that craving.â Sarah wanted to word vomit, to tell him that she hurt people, that she didnât stop until they were ripped apart in the most violent of ways, and that she was afraid to feed because it always happened. But she was also slightly ashamed of what she was. She remembered choosing the human life when she spoke with Enzo last. She remembered wanting to be Sarah Nelson. But Sarah Nelson was gone and this person was in her place.Â
--
âyou donât have to call me uncle stefan.â he told her, finally taking a step closer to her.  âiâve been there, sarah.â a tight lipped smile made itâs way to his lips, âevery vampire has had to deal with the hunger and the cravings.â he reached out, resting a hand on her shoulder, âiâll help you get through, iâll help you with whatever you need, but can you tell me something?â he asked, his brows furrowing together. âwho did this to you? who turned you?â
he pulled a small flask from his pocket, passing it over to her.  âthereâs blood mixed with whiskey in here. that should help with your hunger, at least until we can find you something better to eat.â
(¸.⢠â â âi mean, technicallyâŚâ she muttered, it was strange to tell him this when he lived it but well, he just didnât remember. âi met her not in a good time, itâs a long story but letâs see we are in good terms now, she is a heretic that means a vampire and witch at the same time just because she was from the gemini coven.â she was trying to explain the best she can. âyes with ric. he fell in love with a witch from the gemini coven but just in their wedding day something happened and her pyscho brother killed her so that coven that was there just decided to put them hereâŚthey needed a vampire so those babies werenât going to die.â that was just a very short version of the events that happened that night.Â
ânot really, i havenât found them but hopefully they are safe, if they are back in mystic falls i know they are, ric is with them.â she was sure of it because alaric was always protective them no matter what. âitâs not your fault, stefan, itâs okay.â it does make her sad but the last thing she wanted was for stefan to apologize for this. now a soft smile was on her lips when he asked that. âyes, was perfect, magical.â that ceremony, everything was perfect until the end, of course, it was the best day but also a horrible one for what happened there.Â
--
stefan listened as she spoke, waiting for her to be completely finished answering all of his questions, before he opened his mouth again.  âthis is all so bizarre to me,â he told her finally, after heâd allowed himself a few moments to just contemplate everything that sheâd said. part of him was glad that valerie hadnât perished all those years ago, and that he could confidently tell his daughter that her mother was still alive.  âi wonder if thereâs a way that i can remember all of what youâre talking about.â he pressed a finger to his lips. some part of him had lived this whole life, had been all of these things to all of these people, so somewhere in his mind, those memories had to be able to be reached.
âwould you be willing to try helping me remember?â he wasnât sure what they could do, but he had to at least try, right?  âi think i want to try. and iâm willing to do whatever it takes to figure it all out.â
âwhen you lose someone it stays with you, always reminding you of how easy it is to get hurt.â
elena gilbert, (nina dobrev) was finally spotted on the island, we hear she is 89 and can be adventurous but can also be indecisive. not to mention they are a vampire, from the the vampire diaries, and are a doctor at obsidian cove clinic. Â

what time was your character pulled from? elena is canon up to her death. she lived to be eighty nine years old.
what is the last thing they remember? elena remembers her entire life, up to her death, and isnât sure why she isnât dead now.

how are they going to handle being stuck on obsidian cove? how she handles everything, by avoiding the issue until it becomes too much.

elena remembers her entire life. she lived to be an old woman, with grandchildren, and great grandchildren, dying only days after her husband. she somehow wound up on the island, back in her young vampire body, and she isnât sure how to deal with that at the moment, so she just avoids having to, by filling her days with other things, while she steals blood bags from the clinic where she works.

For the most part, Sarah tried very hard not to give in to the overwhelming hunger that she often experienced. She tried to fill the space with food, real human food. Things she used to like, things that she used to indulge in. She never thought that sheâd turn down a cheeseburger for that of blood. Â
Sheâd left the Pink Pony in a rush, hoping that fresh air would quell the veins that became more prominent under her eyes. Outside one of her hands caught the wall as she tried to breathe and not allow for the sights or sounds to hone in on blood rushing through veins inside. Sarah could sense a presence approaching, but she wasnât paying attention to her other sense to even gauge who it might be. âYou might want to walk away or take a step back because I am not feeling well,â she lied. Or maybe it was the truth, but a half truth.Â
@havenstartersâÂ
the familiar face, heâd known it for a long time, had always tried to protect the girl that it belonged to, but if she was what he thought she was, he apparently hadnât done a very good job of it. moving toward her, he reached out a hand to comfort her, only to be told he should back up. though he knew that she couldnât hurt him, or at least he hoped she wouldnât, he took a step away from her, hand dropping back to his side.  âsarah.â he spoke her name, hoping that it might help her come back to reality, to calm herself a little. he didnât want to get close to her again, especially if it might make her more anxious, but he spoke to her in low tones, words he knew that only she could hear.
âcome on sarah, take a deep breath.â words were murmured in her direction, as he leaned against the wall where he was standing, trying to get a better look at her face.  âlisten to my voice, sarah. just listen. i promise that youâre going to be okay, youâre going to get through this.â
Black curls, hm. Â The Original Hybrid rubs his chin with his thumb, his blue eyes squinting as he tries to recall the familiar face. Where did I see him at?
His mouth opens agape after the familiar, curly-haired guy behind the bar slips.
A smirk twists his lips as he addresses the person sitting on a bar stool beside him. âMust they hire clumsy fools for their staff?â
mack turned to the man next to him at the bar, raising a brow, âheâs obviously a child.â the wolf muttered, âhe looks like his feet are too big for his body still.â he gestured to landon, looking the phoenix up and down, before turning back to the original hybrid.  âhe reminds me of my little brother when we were that age. always tripping over himself.â
a low chuckle left the lips of the werewolf, as he glanced over his shoulder toward the door, âor he was trying to hide from that girl who just walked in.â Â
