Nope it would be a monotone black chao. You’ll need to breed a two tone black chao like breeding one of your starter two tone chao with a black chao until you get a black two tone chao. The end result once it reaches hero chaos chao will be this.

Hmm it’s been a long time since i’ve done it personally, so not sure what could be causing the issue. One thing I remember doing though that the guide didn’t mention is actually having a copy of Sonic Advance 2 in my gameboy advance. But I don’t believe it’s required.

Only other thing I can think of is maybe try watching this video to see if you missed anything.

As far as I know, black market bought chao shouldn’t have family dna, they’re just locked at their colors like yellow,red, exc. Baby pink two tone chao can look a little purple  though, but they get more pink when evolved :3

An Xbox360 controller is the only one officially supported by the game, if you use another controller you’ll have to use a program like XboxCE to emulate one with a different controller.

A chao below 100 swim points will just thrash about.

Red Eggs appear in the Black Market at the Chao Kindergarten once you get 10 emblems in the main game. If there’s no red eggs, leave it and come back a few minutes later and see if stock has changed.
