Honestly, out of all the Disney music and movies, this is my favorite song. There’s something about this song that just instantly makes you love it! I watched A Goofy Movie a thousand times, but it’s not my favorite. It just happens to have my favorite song which I think people don’t listen to. Personally, listen to this song and you’ll see why it is my favorite Disney jam!

I remember first hearing “Girlfriend” by Nao and I was thinking, “WHO IS THIS??” Her voice is honestly one of a kind. It is unmatched by no other. I see there is so much emotion in her voice. Plus, this is an electronic R&B jam! Why is she not being played all over the radios? Nao deserves to be widely recognized. She is truly a rising star.

Sad songs come easily to me when I’m sad and this is one song that I could connect with on an emotional level whenever I went through a break-up. I think it’s a beautiful piece that tells a sad but optimistic story of life after love. The guitar picking in this song just strikes the heart easily and could easily force some tears during dark times.

This song is absolutely beautiful. His heavenly voice and the harp come together to make one of the most emotional R&B songs ever made. Whenever I hear this song, I honestly want to fall in love.

This is a favorite of mine from Whitney Houston. I could really feel the emotion and power of this song. It’s so sad to hear of her passing, but her strong legacy will live on. R.I.P. 

Honestly, B2K made bumpin music. It was sad to hear their breakup. The worst part was that they were doing autograph signings in Germany and they were going to do one an hour from my location and I was going to go to that. But then, they said that the group was splitting and I was sad. I don’t know where they would go if they were still together, but I know they would still be making hot music like this.

I think everyone should listen to Anderson .Paak in general. This dude is really taking us back. So, much soul! I love it! But, this song is definitely the one that I think defines him other than “Am I Wrong”. I really like the chill vibe of this song and the children’s choir in the background is soothing and refreshing. I feel sanguine when I hear this song. It’s just straight relaxing. It makes you want to move forward. Don’t sleep on Anderson .Paak!
