Whole Foods is a great place to get your produce from if you can’t make it to a local farmers market!! All organic goodness. Be careful with your produce from other large corporations like Walmart or Target. Lots of extra pesticides and preservatives! 

Fresh sliced fruit is always a better alternative to chips and other junk food snacks! If you’re really craving something crunchy, try all natural banana chips or coconut chips! Not only does most junk food snacks contain genetically modified corn/wheat, but they are also stacked with plenty of preservatives and artificial coloring. 

Sick of consuming Tropicana’s hidden high fructose corn syrups and foreign preservatives?? Try making your own orange juice or buying locally at a farmers market!

Green smoothies are a great way to start eating clean! They help flush out toxins in the body and give good protein. Here is one of my favorite recipes. Did you know that papaya is one of the only genetically modified fruits in the US? Most fruits are clean of GMOs.

Even though Taco bell recently stated they will be taking out ALL artificial flavors from their foods, (by 2016)  it’s still not the way to go. Definitely another step in the fast food industry but their brand partners, Doritos, Mountain Dew/Pepsi etc, will not be affected in any way.
