Today my boss was telling me about a "hilarious" video he saw about a girl who got a septum piercing without telling her parents and how her dad put a 9 volt battery up to it to electrocute her while she was sleeping. One of my other coworkers rightly pointed out that this was abuse, and I said, "I mean it's her body. Shouldn't she get to decide what she does with it?"

His response? "My kid's bodies are mine until they turn 18."

Here's my bingo card for the equal opportunity killer, Alastor! He's probably one of the only evil / villainous characters that fits this bingo card, but goddamn he does it in style.

I feel like it's pretty self explanatory why I put him in most of the squares I did. Maybe the Exception is the "Alter Ego" square because everyone knows that he's the Radio Demon, but I kinda feel like that's a mask he wears more than who he actually is. I don't think that we get many glimpses at the Real Alastor(tm) aside from when he's injured or alone.

As for the squares I didn't choose, I honestly headcannon or at least soft headcannon most of them, but I don't feel as strongly as I do the squares I chose. I love an Alastor that never sleeps even in death, I love an Alastor that is secretly good with kids, I love an Alastor that is Homoromantic, but those just aren't as important to me as an Alastor that appears sane to anyone who doesn't know him, or Alastor as a (questionable) father figure to Charlie, or Alastor as an asexual trans man.

As a side note, god I love Alastor's rivalry with Vox (or really Vox's rivalry with Alastor). Just an absolutely textbook example of someone so obsessed that they end up sabotaging their whole deal for just the chance to get one over on their rival. And the third act breakdown? *Chefs kiss* I was literally squealing and kicking my feet when he said the line about wiping the smile off of Alastor's face. THIS is what I mean with the "Rival / Archnemesis" square.
