When the ER has people with homicidal ideations and SI (at least 2-6 on every shift I've seen), Mobile Crisis shows up or the patients get committed. Sometimes psych facilities refuse to take in some patients because there is not enough room to hold all these people. Either way, eventually they may get discharged -- most still having these recurring thoughts. And somehow they find a way to get a gun. When treatment fails, we have to acknowledge that these patients with HI are beyond any help. When they're discharged home, these dirtbags walk around like loaded guns and assault rifles. And when you can't take out the bullets (i.e. by getting them help), the next step is to limit their access to weapons, particularly assault rifles. But thanks to the orange Cheeto, it is significantly easier for them to get one. Then these HI/abusive terrorists end up as culprits behind mass shootings. All these white people scared of letting immigrants come to this country — when it’s white people that are mostly killing each other.
