i guess consider this an official hiatus or something. i’m sorry, guys. i have no idea what to do, i just... i want to do something other than this.

if i just disappear for a few days at a time and don’t do anything on here, please don’t be mad at me. i just... yeah, i’m getting really bored of delsin. i love him as a muse, but i’m ready for something else i guess. he’s not clicking like he used to, and i don’t know what to do about it other than not force myself into it.
sometimes i get really mad at myself because it’s not like i don’t want to write, but it’s more that one of three things happens: i can’t get inspired, i’m too depressed and bitter, or i’m easily distracted. i know you shouldn’t force yourself to write when you don’t feel like, but you should also recognize that you’re part of the problem when you just... lay here bitterly, wishing words would come to you.
like there are times when i’ve not wanted to write but when i do start writing i feel better. i just don’t understand. like... idk, i’m doing what i do every so often and getting sick of delsin tbh. even though he’s my favorite muse and i’ve had him for two years. i don’t want to go on a hiatus and leave again but i also don’t want to like... promise i’ll always be here. i don’t know what it is or how i’m gonna solve it. i guess i just want a new muse that... clicks. it might be frisk but i don’t know. i just guess i’m scared to try new things and that’s why i keep going back to delsin and don’t take any risks. and i never feel like i’m good enough for anything else.
and there’s also the fact that i get overwhelmed ridiculously easy. it’s not that i feel like i have to impress anyone, i’m just in that state of... ‘if you tried harder, it would be easier for you to handle.’ idk. like... i want to be on delsin still, and i want to keep him around, but i’m also... incredibly bored sometimes.
it’s not anybody’s fault... it’s just me doing the same thing over and over.

it isn’t really that delsin is trying to keep his distance, but he’s also trying to... lose that sheer awkwardness between them. at this point, though, he’s not sure if that’s even all that possible. he made it a point to give james some space, and yet he’s still too close? delsin sighs, raising a hand to rub at his forehead and stepping away again.
when in reality, all he wants is to just get closer and wrap arms around the frame he used to know, but he won’t. he’s more willful than that now. he’s got to be.

thank god for fast healing. throughout his life, he’s been known to be just more than a little bit reckless, so delsin knows for himself that he should be dead about three hundred times over--probably not much of an exaggeration, considering all the bullets he’s taken since his conduitism was finally triggered.
the notion doesn’t stop him from wanting to help his clone, however, even knowing that it’ll probably just heal right back over within a few minutes. he gently guides his other to sit. it... looks bad, but not that bad. they’ve both probably been through way worse by this point and time, actually.
