A couple flavors of picoCAD jam (and toast)!

I submitted this one to a jam on itch.io, so I was compelled to make the pun. The trippy backgrounds were to stay within a 4-color limit, but I made some simpler ones for ease on the eyes too.

Friday Update #2!

My second entry or whatever for SimpleCG’s March Challenge. Burritos and udon - although probably not at the same time?

Started working on both my entries a month ago, but with the world ending and everything, I put it on a back-burner. Had to cut some corners and learned a bunch about some of the limitations of Substance for just regular-ass coloring.

Next round will be like one thing.

Made with Maya, Substance Painter, Marmoset Toolbag, Photoshop.

3D icecream rendered with Arnold. 10 years back when I got into 3d, rendering in Maya always felt like a bit of a drag, it just never felt very intuitive to me. Nowadays with Arnold, just throw in a simple lightsetup and some material nodes, and you get something simple but cool looking basically out of the box! A pity though that batch rendering support does not come with Maya anymore…
