immediately after the detective responded, argo knew this was going to be easy. they oozed that âeasily fooled by a slick smileâ energy that he fed off of as a thief. they seemed to good natured, their respond trying to make him feel better about the âaccidentâ which he noted and almost made him feel a little bad about manipulating him, almost. he wasnât a normally someone who created these situations, usually heâd just stalk his marks, finding out information that way but this time he figured it would be easier to just pull the information from the source. he was trying to keep a low profile anyway and it also didnât help that the detective was very attractive, something that he wasnât expecting seeing as in his mind he always saw cops as donut eaters. â perfect. iâm argo by the way. â argo couldnât help but smirk as he held out a hand, gesturing for apollo to lead the way as they crossed the street. once they walked up to the coffee shop, the black haired man quickly moved to open the door for the other. â so where were you off too in a hurry ? â he inquired as they waited in line, trying to gently nudge the conversation.Â
Apolloâs not oblivious, of course. The collision just seemed a little too convenient not to be staged, a little too well-practiced not to have a motive behind it, but.. well, being a cop Apolloâs careful with his wallet, his phone, his keys, all of which are still safely in his possession. And as much as it might be nice to stroke his ego and imagine this guy bumped into him for some sort of flirtatious move, Apollo highly doubts it - heâs nothing special, after all. Still, heâs curious enough to keep a pleasant smile on his face and play along. No harm ever came from talking to a cute guy, right? âNice to meet you, Argo. Iâm Apollo.â He responds, still smiling as he leads Argo across the street. Itâs sweet of him to open the door like that - again, almost too good to be true - but he nods in thanks and steps inside, joining the end of the line. âOh, just headed back to work. I had a couple of things to check on downtown, but my boss wonât mind if Iâm a little late.â Sometimes itâs helpful to have your best friend for a boss, after all.â What about you?â
