“I”m familiar with it,” Vision agreed. “A reference to the Roman goddess of wisdom.” And warfare. “An apt choice, indeed. I admire it.” 

He hesitated, then, as he considered her question. “I wonder if I’m in any position to answer such a thing,” he confided frankly. “It is … certainly interesting. there is always something new about their behavior that fascinates me.” Vision smiled then and added, “And I’m not sure if I’d call myself a celebrity. Perhaps a public figure or a symbol would be more appropriate.” 

“Minerva,” Vision repeated. “How appropriate.” And how human. Already, it seemed Minerva had learned to integrate herself into society. 

“I see,” he said, watching her test her fingers. It was not so different from when he was born: he, too, tried the limits of his new body and marveled at the idea of having a form. “I’m regretful I could not speak to you as you were, but I’m grateful you’ve made yourself known, now. And,” he added with mild humor, “I am grateful you’ve left enough to sustain me.”

FRIENDS , such a poignant term for the small circle of acquaintances she’s made in less than a year. who would’ve thought , child of HORRORS could elicit such compassion from so many select individuals ? twin jades narrow suspiciously , despite the disclaimer. “ and vhich friend vould zhat be ? ”

His brow was furrowed as he reached for one of her hands and gripped it, confirming she was real and in front of him. “‘Strange’ certainly does seem appropriate,” Vision agreed as he returned her smile. “I … do not know what to call you, but I do know you were – are – the Mind Stone. I agree: I still feel a strong connection. This is incredible; often, I’ve thought about speaking with you, but never did I imagine it in quite this fashion.”
