I’ll try to do my best to keep this post as detailed and as updated as I can. I’m basing info here from my own experience, touch with the fabrics so I can answer queries regarding those stated as well.

Armani Wool - 75-90/yd, 60 width
- I love how it looked on a coat I was commissioned with.
Beatrice - 45-55/yd, 60 width
- Softer than Katrina, but harder than Peach Twill.
- Textury feeling same as Katrina.
Chiffon - 50-55/yd, 60 width
- Slightly translucent fabric
- I find this nice as the outer layer of dresses since its translucency makes it look more elegant
- Colors are really <3 especially since everything looks pastel-ish due to its translucency.
Crepe - 90-130/yd, 60 width
- take note of crepe fabrics as it has the “original” and another one I forgot the name sorry.
- textured and thin fabric, it kinda feels like a slightly crumpled paper, but it’s fabric lol
Stretch Cotton - 100-120/yd, 60 width
- has a variety, I’ve seen one with one-way not so elastic stetch, but another with 4-way super elastic stretch.
Cotton Twill - 110-120/yd
- best for coats as what my fabric supplier told me
- used this for SnK’s jacket, worked well
Curduroy - 110 - 130/yd, 60 width
- stripey 3D texture made of very small ‘fur-like’ fabric.
- I know of two kinds, one with thinner stripey feel, and one with much larger and embossed effect.
- I hear people use this as upholstery for sofas, but meh, its texture is good enough for some characters like Neferpitou’s shorts and legwarmers
Felt - 100-150/yd (at times taken per meter), 60 width
- has two types, soft and hard felt
- do NOT used this for your cos
- normally used for hairclips of some characters
Fillon - 15 - 40/yd, 60 width
- price depends on thickness
- normally used for standing collars, skirt and pants hem, matte parts of a cos, custom hats and petticoats that goes UNDERNEATH the fabric
Fur - 300 - 800/yd, 60 width
- price depends on fur length
Gabardine - 75 - 85/yd, 60 width
- Small square-ish texture almost the same as Katrina
- normally used for Coats, blazers
Geena - 15-25/yd, 60 width
- normally used as lining or small details of a cos
- do NOT use as main fabric for a cos
Katrina - 35-50/yd, 60 width
- Basic fabric people use for cosplay, uniforms, coats.
- has a wide variety of colors
- thick enough to be a base fabric but best to be lined especially for coat or blazers so it’ll look better
Klopman - 80/yd, 60 width
- a bit thicker than Peach Twill
- It feels more cotton-y than Peach Twill
Lacoste - 65-85/yd, 60 width
- smoother and a bit thinner than Peach Twill
- can be used as base fabric
Leatherette - 120-180/yd, 60 width
- price depends on quality and thickness of leather
- slim shine, but look really good
- normally used for costumes for it to look 'cooler’
Leatherette Spandex - 110-130/yd, 60 width
- leatherette looking and stretchable but is thin
- don’t confused this with metallic spandex (the one that has two colors on each side)
Microfiber - 50-60/yd, 60 width
- thicker than Geena and Tetoron, thinner than Katrina
- really smooth fabric but less flowy than Peach Twill
Monochromatic - 110-130/yd, 60 width
- thin fabric that’s close to Chiffon
- gradient colors but can be limited. Usually only available in basic colors like Primary and secondary colors fading to white. At times, available in stripes of rainbows, and other colors.
Organza - 15-25/yd, 60 width
- has many types, Iike Frosted Organza 30-50/yd, 60 width, which looks 'frosted’ lool.
- others used this as petticoat as well since it’s not as itchy as tulle without lining
- semi translucent look that can be used for veil and stuff
Palm Beach - 65- 90/yd, 60 width
- thicker than Katrina and Gabardine
- Not sure, but it looks hot to wear
- It has odd types of colors so you might want to check this fabric out if you can’t find a certain color (This is the fabric I used for a Shiro uniform commission, I find the color most accurate)
Peach Twill - 60-70/yd, 60 width
- best as default fabric for dresses with no form, (it doesn’t work well if it’ll be used for 'standing or illusionary folded’ like Misaki Ayuzawa’s maid costume sleeve , if you want it accurate at least)
Satin - 35 - 50/yd, 60 width
- IMO, this is a fabric that makes a costume look cheap when the costume is not supposed to be shiny.
- using the reverse side (wrong side) works great if you just want that slim shine.
- Bridal Satin - 60-80/yd, 60 width, less shine than that of the cheaper satin, normally used for gowns, but shinier than Duchess Satin.
- Duchess Satin - 75-130/yd, 60 width
- thicker than the Satin and Bridal Satin
- less shine than that of Bridal Satin, it’s best to use this if you want the shiny feeling rather than settling for the cheap satin type, my favorite type of Satin.
- it’s difficult to sew as raffles and has that “hard unflowy” texture IMO.
Spandex - 80-110/yd, 60 width
- smooth, flexible, elastic fabric
- used for clothes that are body hugging
- do select those that are thicker, some are too thin.
- Leatherette Spandex - 120-130/yd, 60 width
- Metallic Spandex - 100-140/yd, 60 width, stretchy
- price depends on quality and thickness of leather
- slim shine, but looks really good
- not that elastic, but I find it nice for body-fitting costumes but best be lined with another fabric as it’s thin
Silenka - 55-70/yd, 60 width
- has more small sequins and sparkles compared to galaxy tulle.
Tafetta - 35-60yd, 60 width
- normally used for umbrellas but sometimes works for clothes. Thin and has that slim shine.
Tetoron - 40-45/yd, 45 width
- thin fabric but thicker than Geena, thinner than Katrina
- can also be used for inner polos for School uniforms or small details
Tulle - 15-20/yd for soft tulle, 25-50/yd for hard tulle, 60 width
- hard tulle is used for petticoats
- Illusion tulle - 55-75/yd, 60 width, softer than hard tulle but a bit harder than soft tulle, has a slim shine
- Galaxy tulle - 50-70yd, 60 width, tulle that has small sparkles
Velboa - 150-200/yd, 60 width
- IMO, this is the cheap alternative for Velvet.
- It has this annoying shine especially when a light source is near.
Velvet - 250 - 350/yd, 60 width
- price depends on quality, it’s hard to explain but if you touch a cheap one from a high quality one, you’ll know.
- normally used for victorian gowns
- very slim shine but looks good when light shines to it.
