               𝖘𝖔  𝖘𝖍𝖊  𝖍𝖆𝖉𝖓'𝖙  been  as  subtle  as  she  thought.  not  a  surprise,  really;  mary  macdonald  was  hardly  ever  subtle.  she  narrowed  her  eyes  at  the  other  girl,  popping  her  bubble  gum  almost  aggressively.   “   ——   alright,  fine.  do  you  get  your  eyebrows  DONE  or  are  those  natural  ?   ”

           she  was  pleasantly  surprised    ,    made  obvious  by  the  way  her  eyes  crinkled  ever-so-slightly  as  she  held  back  a  laugh    .     what  ceska  WANTED  to  do  was  flip  her  hair  and  coo  about  how  it  was  all  natural    .     sarcasm  would  be  present    ,    of  course    ,    because  who  the  fuck  hadn’t  struggled  with  wild  eyebrows  at  least  once  or  twice  in  their  life   ?    but  instead    ,    she  merely  smiled  kindly    .       ❛    i  do  them  myself  actually    .    ❜

                the  brunette  licked  her  lips  slowly     ,    breathing  through  her  nose  as  the  edge  of  her  tongue  slid  across  her  pearly  whites    .    there  was  a  warm  body  beside  her    .    watching  her    .   perhaps  waiting  for  an  opening    ,    but  the  concentrated  spark  in  her  gaze  may  have  appeared  uninviting    .    so  franceska  lowered  her  quill  and  arched  a  perfectly  plucked  brow    .     ❛    it  might  be  easier  to  just  ask    ,     ❜    she  mused    ,   an  unreadable  smile  gracing  her  soft  features    .

          the  stone  floor  was  chilled  against  her  bare  feet  as  she  snuck  along  the  muggy  hallway    .    sleep  had  eluded  the  poor  girl  and  she  couldn’t  seem  to  find  it  again    ,    forced  to  accept  defeat  as  she  roamed  to  the  common  area  in  search  of  something     .    or  someone    .    a  boy    ,    to  be  specific     ;    one  that  she  thought  of  more  often  than  not    .    a  boy  who  played  his  part  despite  deserving  a  much  better  role    .    “    tobias   ?     ❜

          he  was  there    ,    and  she  couldn’t  help  but  wonder  if  he  was  there  for  the  same  reason  she  was    .

          ❛   it’s  fucking  cold    .     ❜    she  spoke  eloquently  in  spite  of  her  language    ,    much  like  a  pirate  who  had  been  born  into  royalty    .    she  snagged  a  throw  blanket  from  one  of  the  many  couches  before  making  her  way  to  her  brother  and  taking  a  spot  beside  him    .     ❛   you  get  sick  and  suddenly  it’s  phlegm  city   .   count  me  the  hell  out    ,     ❜    she  muttered  plainly  while  spreading  the  blanket  out  over  their  legs    .

          after  making  sure  they  were  both  comfortable    ,    a  kindness  took  over  her  features  as  she  turned  to  him    .    she  seemed  heavenly  in  a  way    .     almost  as  if  she  wished  she  could  be  more  of  a  guardian  angel  than  a  sister    .     ❛    are  you  okay   ?     ❜   despite  how  she  felt  about  their  father  being  there    ,    she  could  only  image  how  much  worse  it  was  for  him    .    //  @inheritedfates

           franceska  situated  herself  within  the  soft  confines  of  the  plush  loveseat    ,    hands  folded  neatly  upon  her  lap  as  she  appraised  the  boy  before  her    .    the  dungeons  lacked  warmth     ,     and  the  tall  serpent  seemed  to  be  blocking  out  whatever  rare  bits  of  light  would  peak  through  the  frequently  opened  door    .

          ❛    regulus    ,     ❜    she  shifted  slightly  to  allow  more  space  before  motioning  toward  the  seat  next  to  her     .     ❛   please    ?    i’d  like  to  pick  your  brain    .   ❜

          to  say  the  witch  was  uncomfortable  would  have  been  an  understatement    .    while  her  father  did  nothing  but  praise  the  young  selwyn    ,    she  felt  cold  under  his  gaze    .    empty   .    and  to  have  him  in  the  same  castle  as  her  felt  more  like  karma  than  anything  else   .    what  had  she  done   ?    and  what  must  she  do  to  appease  whatever  god  she  may  have  pissed  off    ?

                she  is  faux-flawless  without  a  stitch  misplaced   .

if  you’re  looking  for  FRANCESKA  “CESKA”  SELWYN    ,    you’ll  probably  find  HER  in  the  SLYTHERIN  dorm  with  the  rest  of  the  FIFTH  years    .    they’re  the  EIGHTEEN  year  old  PUREBLOOD  who  looks  kind  of  like  STEFANIE  SCOTT    .    they  seem  DRIVEN    ,    SELF-RELIANT    ,    and  STRONG  to  me    ,    but  apparently  they’re  also  PROUD    ,    CONFLICTED    ,    and  DETACHED    .    maybe  that’s  why  their  patronus  is  an  EAGLE    .    ( ic: female & she/her. )
