Fancy some cereals for breakfast?

This article is dedicated to lovely Bella, our 13-year old German shepherd that died yesterday. I just miss her so much and am sorry for not being there to be able to say goodbye. 

I know that some people say that they are just dogs and it's not proper to be so sad when they leave us. But I you can't NOT to be sad when it happens. When the dog was your friend and was with you for the most of your life and you really can't imagine things without her.

The times when she chased every single train that passed our garden. So many holes she digged in the ground and you almost twisted your ankle every single time you were walking through the backyard. That she was always waiting at the door when you were coming back from school. Always there. Barking at neigbours, reducing our population of chickens, chasing snow flakes, the list could go on...

Belinka, you'll be always missed as a great friend and protector that you were to us.

What is it with all hairdressers that they promise you they'll take only 2cm and before you know it you lost 15cm just like that! 

I still can't believe that my stay in Ireland is coming to an end. I'm slowly starting to think about packing and how am I going to move my whole life back home.

I'm so excited to see my friends and family again and not just for 3 days and then rush back, but on the other hand, it's so sad and I will miss Ireland so much. All the people I met, places I went, simply everything (maybe not the rain...).

Another sunny day in Dublin, I can't believe the weather has been so good for so long now. 

Went running after leaving the kids at sports camp and then went for my favourite treat - latte and delicious toasted banana bread with maple syrup and berries at Union Square , enjoyed the lovely sunshine and sipped my coffee while reading a book.

Kid: So, have your big dogs at home ever eaten a person?

Me: Nope.

Kid: But they could possibly eat you...

Me: I wouldn't be tasty, I'm too skinny, not enough meat on me.
