I thought it was just a thing for bboys to love anime but apparently its just a Utah bboy thing...

I think it's important to choose memories over money, especially while you're young. It sounds crazy, but I've been spending a lot of time listening to the stories of when the OG's in the scene were younger. I think it's important we go out and do our own stupid things too, build memories and experiences while we're hyper and stupid and haven't learned to pace ourselves when we drink. Putting aside trying to get some extra hours in at work our saving money for the next video game console or game. Be broke while you're young, spend too much money on food our going out of town. Be broke, take a trip with some homies and sleep in the car for the trip. It doesn't last forever. Go see places, meet people, get kicked out of places. The stories I hear from the OG's are what inspires me to take adventures and the adventures I have taken are things I will be telling the kids my age when I'm older and have grown me closer to my friends. I mean don't be too dumb with your money but go out as much as you can and do dumb things with your friends.
