Death to Plasma.

I don't know if I can do this anymore. I sat down to dinner as per usual, and then my parents had to go and try and convince me that no one here online actually cares that I exist, and if I were to delete my blog now, no one would care. Then of course, they went ahead and continued to tell me that if I spent as much time as I do here, on the computer, that I'd be a better person. Surely that's true, but then they spat at me that I wasn't productive and that I currently hold nothing that'll help society. They're basically calling me a parasite. I've tried to get jobs, don't get me wrong, but I never got a call back and I have too much social anxiety to call them or even go to the place I applied for.  Trying to tell me that the people behind the screens of computers that I interact with don't exist as real people utterly depresses and pisses me off. I don't know what to do or what to tell them. After I had left, my dad tried to convince my mom that taking my computer away from me, possibly shutting it down for good until I can afford my own would be a good opportunity to "get my ass in gear". To tell you the truth, I've lost my muse. I'll more than likely be lurking, but other than that, I can't continue threads right now.
