On tumblr Iโm seeing a hell of a lot of young white kids yelling at anyone who actually follows those steps, and acting like burnout is a moral falling rather than a well-proven psychological phenomenon.
Be careful who you get your information from. Donโt let guilt lead you to make choices that will harm both you and the movement.

May 18, 2020. Joรฃo Pedro Mattos Pinto was murdered by the police IN HIS HOME in Sรฃo Gonรงalo, Rio de Janeiro. he was only 14. when the police murdered him, he was PLAYING in his own backyard. his house now has at least 72 bullet holes in itโs walls. and his momโs heart has one giant hole, that one type that is impossible to be ever filled again.
this happened exactly a week before George Floydโs murder. Joรฃo Pedro was black too.
it doesnโt matter where you from. all cops are bastards. all of them. brazillian ones. us cops. even the ones from your country. all of them serve the same racist purposes.ย
Joรฃo Pedro should be remembered. his life and Floydโs matter so much.

for people who are unaware of why the riots in minneapolis started happening, hereโs the facts:
it wasnโt george floydโs protesters who started reacting violently; it was the cops.
the protest was peaceful until the cops showed up in riot gear, and started using water cannons, followed up by tear gas and rubber bullets. i got videos from friends who were there, of people screaming and running away from the cops shooting the water cannons, rubber bullets and throwing tear gas at them. they were even shooting at the protesters dragging people away to get medical attention.
speaking of medical attention, dispatch refused to provide any medical attention to the protesters. people literally had to drive their bleeding friends to the hospital because they refused to send ambulances.
cops are using non-lethal weapons in a lethal way. they shot rubber bullets into peopleโs heads and injured them. thereโs dozens of photos of protesters with bleeding head wounds from the rubber bullets.
multiple people used police scanners and heard that there were undercover cops pretending to be violent protesters who were throwing rocks and whatnot at the police, with dozens of eyewitness accounts confirming that information.
the person who instigated all the chaos last night (it was a fire at an autozone) with the looting and burning buildings is highly suspected to be an undercover cop pretending to be a protester, because the video of him keeps getting taken down. protesters tried to stop him but couldnโt because he had a hammer and they were scared for their safety.
the cops jammed cell phone towers and cut live streams to interrupt broadcasts and to prevent people from seeing what was really going on and who actually started the violence.
the cops lied about protesters being armed and about throwing rocks and are literally trying to continue the violence happening and yet no one is holding them accountable for that.
and during all this, the cop that murdered george floyd still hasnโt been arrested. he has had more than ten complaints filed against him and was involved in three other civilian shootings in the past. and yet heโs still out free along with his three other buddies involved, probably sitting on his couch while all this chaos is happening.
so donโt get it twisted. the cops just want to change the narrative to make it look like theyโre the wounded and righteous party, when theyโre the ones who started reacting violently in the first place and are still acting violently. so donโt you ever forget who started this tragedy and murdered someone, and who are continuing to react to the situation with violence.ย

she first came in when I was having a very rough day, a few days after I first moved to glimmerbrook, so I was not excited about having another customer very close to the end of working hours. I just wanted to go to the little room i was renting and cry my eyes out over a tray of homemade brownies. however, she picked up one of my favourite books and gave me the sweetest smile while chatting that, letโs just say, my day was a lot brighter after that. also, she drank her coffee black and shes the only person other than me in that store that even dares to do that so, sheโs kinda special.

i really enjoy calm quality time. anything like going to a cafรฉ to chat, exploring an art gallery or going for a long drive at the beach. i have had my fair share of wild times, and that lifestyle really gets tiring after a while, let me tell you. later on in a relationship, i honestly just love staying home and getting takeout to eat while being maybe too competitive over board games.

well, I havenโt had a serious relationship that lasted more than a few months, like, ever. i guess i have been unlucky in the partner department, but i also think i wasnโt very clear about what i wanted either. i really want a caring, open partner. i am a massive cuddler so that is definitely a requirement. i need a relationship that is a two way street โ we both feel open and comfortable to share our worries, concerns and aspirations. a relationship is all about supporting one another through thick and thin, but that can only happen if your partner knows what youre going through.

uh oh, i really dislike talking about myself, but i guess i can give this a shot. i wont lie, iโm quite insecure. i have definitely gained a lot more confidence than i had when i was younger but, thereโs still a long way to go. i have always been very inclined to hide aspects of myself by putting on a loud persona but, lately, that has gotten very exhausting so Iโm ready to let it go. i also love helping people โ i can get lost in my head sometimes and nothing helps me out as much as listening to somebody elseโs problems and getting invested in trying to help them. its why i love running my store so much, it gives me a chance to talk to so many people and, at least for a few hours, find some solace from my loneliness.
i grew up very insecure as i mentioned, and felt like i never really fit in with my family, but that doesnโt mean i donโt love them. i would do anything for my brothers, even though they would never admit that they need their baby sisterโs help. living in glimmerbrook is the first time iโve lived away from them and itโs honestly been such a rough time, but we still talk on the phone all the time! i never told them quite how i felt about our family inside, since i know how much it would hurt them, and itโs a secret i will take to the grave.
Thereโve been quite a few create-a-sim challenges floating around tumblrย lately, but I wasnโt really connecting with any of the prompts, so I decided to make my own!ย

- May only use ONE sim. Download someone from the gallery, create your own, use an EA townie, whatever. Make sure youโre 100% pleased though because youโll be stuck with them till the end!
- CAN NOT change Simโs genetics, body shape, etc. (Hair, contacts and such are free game, but try not to alter anything that couldnโt be easily changedย irl.)

- Get creative! Take your screenshots right from CAS, pose your Sim in a parallel in-game setting, or PhotoShop your own backdrop. The choice is yours!
- I tried to make each category as gender neutral as possible, so feel free to interpret each prompt however you see fit! Just make sure to stick to the rules (or not, itโs just a game) and have fun!
