I don’t talk about religion on this account. My page is about shifting, my experiences, manifesting, and lighthearted things I enjoy sharing. However, I received a comment today that was clearly making assumptions about my religion based on my profile picture.

To clarify, I never brought up my religion in my post. It was a lighthearted, motivating shifting story-time post. Someone saw my cartoon profile picture of a woman wearing a hijab and made an assumption about me.

This is actually the second time I’ve received hate like this on my account. The first time it was anonymous, and this time it was someone directly commenting on my post. Funny enough, the comment was deleted after I replied to them.

What baffles me is that we can talk about infinite realities with infinite possibilities, but somehow the idea of a cartoon woman covering her hair in a profile picture is “unfathomable”?

Shifting is for everyone! This community includes people from all different backgrounds, religions, and spiritual beliefs. You don’t have to believe the same things as someone else to respect them.

I have shifting friends who believe in God, and I have shifting friends who don’t. We are still able to support each other, have conversations, and respect each other’s beliefs.

I will not tolerate hate towards anyone because of their religious or spiritual beliefs. We should be motivating and uplifting people in this community, not the opposite of that.

A cartoon profile picture or someone’s personal beliefs are not something that should cause anger or hostility. If something about someone’s account bothers you that much, you are free to scroll away.

starting to notice a pattern with these shifters who be giving out advice and compulsively pair it with “i’ve shifted x amount of times!”

so many of them end up being exposed for being sickos and i feel like the need to say how many times you’ve shifted is just the beginning of their egomania. so far, i’ve not been proven wrong.

coming from someone who’s been in the community actively for 3 years and known about shifting for 5, be careful who’s content you consume. if it seems too performative, too complicated, too egotistical—it likely is. shifting is a tool for expansion. that’s it. it’s not a special superpower as much as we like to sometimes believe it to be. it’s not going to take your troubles away or fix you. as we can see, for some people it expedites things and makes you act 10x worse.

none of this shifting clout shit is permanent. be sure to keep yourself grounded. i know so many of y’all are motivated to shift because you want to be able to tell your stories and be validated for finally “doing it.”

i promise you, you gon get a handful of congrats and it’ll feel good for 5 minutes. but if that’s your only source of validation/motivation, you’re going to be disappointed and you’ll have to find bigger and crazier things to “shift” to in order to get the response you crave. it’s not sustainable. you need to learn to find the validation within yourself. shifting is so fulfilling but it’s also completely internal. so don’t give your power away. don’t fall into idolatry. and don’t be a freak weirdo just because you can shift.

chaos is not evil — nor is it good. it is the raw , untamed current that predates order itself.

a force of constant creation & ruin. a pulse beneath the skin of the world.

when nature falters , it seeps through the cracks.

it heals. it harms. it nurtures. it corrodes.

chaos leaves nothing unchanged.

chaos unravels , and chaos frees.

yet freedom without direction can dissolve into ruin.

this is the paradox. what is life-giving is also corrosive , a mirror of the one who wields it.

casters — what mortals would call witches — are born to anchor chaos into form. spells are pulled from the unseen , caught & pinned to reality by will alone.

light casters shape chaos into order. they restore. they balance. and most importantly , they refuse to break free will . . . their magic is drawn only from the earth & the stars — nature’s currents.

dark casters drink chaos in its wildest state. they dominate , corrode , consume. their power grows quickly — but at the detriment of their withering bodies or hollowing spirits. sometimes , darkness will take them so deep that they are no longer channelers at all , but creatures of chaos itself.

there are families of light. families of dark. some mixed , though most are separated by design. they each know their role and rarely cross their lines.

chaos hums all around us but in a small town , built around the grove , chaos cries.

strange lights flicker in the streets. animals turn vicious. tempers fray with the moon.

locals whisper the town is alive — how else would they explain the strange things they see if not for the town being a living , breathing beacon of the unseen ?

magnolia falls is not just chaos’ threshold. it becomes its very shadow. packs , hunters , spirits , & casters — all drawn as if the oak calls them home.

and maybe, it does. ✦
