Really ruffles my feathers

Made me preen (for a human to preen means they fuss over their appearance, usually attributed to pride or vanity, can be used when someone gives you a compliment)

A hop, skip, and a jump (something is a short distance away, for the birdkin who hop)

As the crow flies

Early bird gets the worm

Peckish

Like a duck to water (adapting easily and naturally to a new activity or situation)

Feather in my cap (an achievement or honor to be proud of)

Like water off a duck’s back (not affected or bothered by criticism or insults)

Birds of a feather flock together

Spread my wings (taking on new challenges or trying something different)

My other kin friends seem to like the feeling of being free under stars best, but I find myself enjoying the feeling of being surrounded by clouds as best I can on earth. ☁️
