this is my first tumblr post in around 8 years.

im so bored of social media in 2026. i remember such happy times on tumblr back in 2013-17. i had an old blog that i cant even remember the name of now where i used to shit post dan and phil/one direction content. simpler times. i checked my one draft on this blog today to find an essay 16 year old me wrote on why 16 year olds should be allowed to vote- compelling arguments made I must say, bless that young gal.

i want to come back to tumblr for the nostalgia of it all. not sure where to start or how to even use it any more, feeling rather boomer. waffling already. ive been watching strange aeons for many years and living vicariously through their analysis of OG tumblr nostalgic content.

guess ill introduce myself which feels quintessentially millennial/gen-z cusp of me. im liv. im 25. i live in the middle bit of the uk. im releasing some cool music soon- think femme brit-pop ska/reggae inspired bops. i used to be front girl in a punky ska/reggae band called 'RudeSix', which disbanded in 2023. since then ive been involved in various projects/bands in similar scenes, alongside working in theatre and being a mother to my two cats. if you fancy following along to see some updates about my music, perhaps drop my blog a follow !! x
