It is my headcanon that Murdoc did sex with 2-D's girlfriend Paula Cracker because he was jealous and wanted to break them up and he wanted 2-D to be his boyfriend instead.

I need - I need - I need you to help me tie my shoe laces up!" so now everyone knows 2-D cannot tie his shoe laces.
