This is goodbye. Which I’ve said before. To you. To my friends. To your friends. To my mom. To my aunt. To my brothers and sister. Hell, even to myself. But I could never follow through because you’d start being sweet. And flirty. And just completely change back into the person I fell in love with. Then you throw your god damn smirk into the mix and I was a goner once again. This is different I’m not falling for it this time. I’m tired of getting my hopes up by thinking you finally want me back. Only to be crushed when you pull away yet again with not even a notice. You don’t realize just how much this has wrecked me over the past year. But that’s okay. It’s not your fault. It’s mine and I’m finally done going back. This is it. It’s still going to hurt when I see you giving someone the smile you used to give me. Or when I see you talking to some other girl. Even when our eyes lock and it feels like nothing’s changed. It will all still hurt like a damn bitch but I’ll be okay. Maybe not right away. But I will. And, most importantly, I’ll be completely and totally okay without you. This is it. This is different.
