I’m not surprised that this is a #HotTake considering the state of literary analysis on this website, but Dii-Two (the Ditto that killed and replaced Lack-Two during the PWT) is an infinitely more interesting and dynamic character, than OG Lack-Two, and it’s such a shame that they’re the most ignored character in Pokespe history. You really think the final confrontation with Ghetsis would be anywhere near as emotionally impactful if he wasn’t talking to Dii-Two? Why do I live in a world where “No Ditto AU” is the most common BW2 tag. None of you understand storytelling.

I just think Silver would feel the most at home on concrete.

i know it was all part of the deep symbolism and metaphors that i cherish so much in this children’s manga and i know that experiencing such grief firsthand was the only way X would ever figure out that shutting himself away would only make things worse for everyone in Kalos, but i really wish they let him keep Diancie. we got two whole panels after he caught it before the bourgeoisie swooped in and stole it. and if you need to compare it to something else shortlived, Lance had more screentime during the Mt Coronet incident than X did as Diancie’s trainer
