what level of procrastination is "not studying for an exam i have in less than a week because i have become obsessed with creating my own language"? because, well,, we've now officially reached that level
Y'all, send me all the good luck and positive vibes today. I'm trying to get a 2nd job with a Walmart near where I live in my town for evening shifts, and I've already applied and left my phone number for their manager yesterday (As long as the associate put my number on the manager's desk). Please, someone, manifest that I get an interview call today. I really need a 2nd job before the semester starts!!!
i've been travelling a lot these past couple weeks but i have a few days to rest and i'm planning on working through my flashcards again. i can't actually study extensively at the moment since i couldn't pack my usual notebooks and writing utensils, but as soon as i get back my goal is to dive back into korean/mongolian/qazaq ^-^
took me a tad bit too long to realise that your account used to be o2studies - but very glad to have you back on my feed :) hope you’re doing well!!
Omg hi I forgot my asks again 😭 So happy to have your posts still circling round — I'm doing alright, been so tired through socialising with too many ppl these past couple weeks and I'm struggling to lock in for my exam, but all good still, how've you been??

Notes from My Desk #17 | 7/7/26
I just couldn't get started today. I literally spent the whole day not studying, because I just couldn't get started. I returned a book to the library, and because I am addicted, I brought 2 back home with me. I have given myself a loaning ban until I return my current 29 loans + the one I've reserved for one of my courses.
I started reading If Anyone Builds It, Everyone Dies. I only read the introduction, so I can't say for sure if it's good or not, but it's an important topic - the dangers of AI - so I'm hoping it'll be educational. I have a literary work I could do on the topic as well - this book doesn't qualify for reading, because it needs to be in Finnish, but maybe I get some original ideas to refer to. Or otherwise, just reading for fun and interest is good, too.
I opened my courses at 10 pm, because I refuse to let the entire day slip away from me. I only wrote notes for about half an hour, but the important parts was just getting back into it after having a hard day. I don't want to let myself down. Hoping for an easier start tomorrow.
Studies (55 m): 🟢 intro for "Safety in Chemistry" 🟡 notes for "The Finnish Society" ⚪️ 233 flashcards reviewed (23 min.)
Highlights: ⭐️ New book, new me ⭐️ Reading something quote worthy again ⭐️ Decided to put my French vocab on hold and focus on Greek
Tomorrow: ➡️Pick up where I left off with my studies
💭 On hard days, it doesn't matter how fast you get up. It only matters that you do.

("send me what's your favourite asks")
A long time ago you asked me about my favourite soups. It is time I repay you and do the same. What are your favourite soups?^^ Top 5 or hawever many you want :)) <3
(I have since tried Pho (the vietnamise dish) and I fell in love with another soup once more)
Aa ty for the ask!! I shall very happily repay the question <3
Rosół
Rosół
Rosół
Rosół
and rosół :]
Geniuenly otherwise I don't think I have any favourites? I really love the unhealthy-and-packeted instant tomato soup, 'Gorący kubek' specifically if you’re heard of it. My granddad used to buy it for me sooo muchhh 💕
Other ones I've really liked is vegetable broth (closest thing to rosół, and particularly it was the broth I tried in Scotland) and some random 'soup of the day' ones I've tried in a nearby cafe, like creamed broccoli or creamed carrot and parsnip.
Why is the voice in my head still saying "but you could stay home" every time I go somewhere I can technically avoid. Like staying in my room alone has ever done me any favours. Once I'm there I always feel better and glad I went. Life narrator in my brain clueless af apparently

OH I REMEMBER WHAT ELSE I WAS GOING TO ASK!!
Have you got any tattoos yourself??
yes!!! i have four and currently getting a consultation for number five next month! my first tattoo was an arrow on my wrist to symbolize mental health stuff, my second was a camping scene because i lived sort of off the grid for a couple of years in the middle of the forest as a teenager, my third is "survivor" with the neda symbol for the s (in my own typography), and my fourth is a neuron that i got for getting my bsc (hons). my next tattoo will be a memorial for my best friend who passed away from arthritis, and the appointment will be on the two year anniversary. it'll a mix of her writing and cytokines that are implicated in both her arthritis and mine, but it's also meant as a symbol of pharmacy as well. sorry for the rambling
Hello! It was nice getting to know you through your into post ^^ Just got a couple of things!!
What's your approach to studying Orgo Chem at uni/what resources do you use? I'm in first year and need to retake the exam and struggled learning the information — but more so applying it to actual questions, and we don't get mark schemes for our exams unfortunately 😭
What are your pets called?? I've also got 2 goldens! I present thee Joy and Bella ✨️
And lastly good luck on your Pharma journey!! 🌟💕💪🍀💊
hello!! thank you for the ask! honestly it made my day. i feel you on the applying the concepts thing. in both ochem I and II i have struggled more with keeping all of the concepts straight and then applying them. i always do well on the questions that test concepts directly but not so much on anything that involves applying it to something new. what helps me the most is doing all of the practice questions i can get my hands on. i do every single question in the textbook, in the practice content we're given, and i seek out more practice questions as much as possible. i have appreciated master organic chemistry but i don't like that some of it is behind a paywall and i've actually been on the fence recently about whether i should pay for a month's subscription. i guess it just comes down to practice, practice, practice. this also works very well for me in all of my other heavy science subjects. those are adorable doggos!! my dog and cat have really unique location specific names, but here's a pic for attention and treats :')
Am I wrecking my sleep schedule further by starting a book at 00:27..... mayhaps ;-;
hi! it's been long enough that i figured i'd re-introduce myself, and because i've made some updates to my blog (previous user @//muji-boy as an example).

things i post about: really just study notes, study aesthetic, personal updates, and the odd bujo post.

here's a secret: whatever you're doing, you have to root for your peers with all your heart because it forces you to root for yourself too. I've seen people in various spheres of my life (workplaces, education, art, activism) fall into the trap of envy and resentment when they see others succeed while they struggle, and it always always goes hand in hand with them pulling back and giving up and stagnating.
when you let yourself get sour grapes about shit, you tacitly give up on yourself. when you sit around hoping other people will flop and fail so you can catch up to them, you stop trying. it's a fantasy of mediocrity, the vain wish that other people would walk so you could take the gold medal at a jog. wouldn't you rather come last place at 27mph?
"it's so fucking over" yeah dude it's 11pm it's the end of the day it's time for you to go to bed. and tomorrow you'll be so fucking back because you'll be awake. go tuck yourself in dude you'll be ok
