Hi Violet. *sits beside you*
what are you listening to?
(IM FUCKING CACKLING BUT, FINE. I'LL PLAY ALONG)
As your curiosity peaks into the Murder House, you are welcomed by the scent of an earthy dampness. The air was filled with dust and the faint smell of florals and decay as you admire the craftsmanship's authentic value. The walls and floor were built with oak and mahogany wood, along with the stained glass cut and assembled romantically. Anyone with a keen eye for artistic value can sense the determination and passion with which this house was built.
Suddenly, you were caught off-guard by the faint, blasted music that echoed the staircase filling the entry. You began to investigate the sound as you began to feel your breathing becoming shallow. Isn't this house empty? You think to yourself. Who could possibly be upstairs? You were then reminded of the possibility of the place being haunted as you shook it off with a playful scoff at the absurd thought. Each footstep you took creaked into the polished wood as you gathered your strength to seek the music. As you finally reached the hallway, the faint music seemed to be blasting through a speaker, but the house was on sale, there were no residences, and you began to shiver from the idea of being reminded about "ghosts" and "murder" till you brushed it off with the thought of the possibility of squatters. Which was a large threat to you, supposing they could be armed, but this was your home to claim, yours to take.
Then, as you twisted the knob gently, you were greeted by the figure of a young girl who stood with rich, dark brown hair as the light illuminated her ghastly presence, with the sun's rays adding to her blonde highlights. She was facing your device, which settled on top of the desk along with the speakers. She was dressed in a floral dress with an oversized cardigan hanging over her. Then, you began to knock as she turned to your attention.
"Oh, hey, I'm guessing you're also here for the open house?"
She asked with a curious tone. She slowly approached you as her heels tapped against the floor and she reached her hand out. I'm Violet; I live in the neighbourhood.
"This place is pretty neat, isn't it?"
She gave you an appreciative nod and tugged a smirk. You felt a bit intimidated and awkward by her presence because of how casually the girl introduced herself, but you figured she might be unaware that you've already sold the house. But she seems nice, you thought.
"Yeah, what were you listening to?"
You began to ask as you approached the bed and sat down. You could feel your weight sinking down on the soft, comfortable mattress while you could hear the springs creak. You were curious to learn more about the mysterious girl who broke into your house.
"Just exploring some stuff on this thing. There's not much on it."
Her eyes examined your phone, while you heard her tone was exasperated while emphasizing 'much' while scrolling around their phone for better songs while basing off your genres, trying to be on level to match similar tastes to both satisfy them. She decided to mention some of the more recently popular and relevant bands that she liked, hoping they were recognizable.
"Say, got any Ramones on this thing? The Smiths? Queens—"
Violet paused for a bit as she slowly shifted her turn as her tone seemed to be calculating, trying to search for similar interests.
"Nirvana?"
She mentioned expectantly for a reaction, keeping her eyes locked with theirs as if she were studying them.

I had a tiny sketchbook that was only ten pages long (not counting the back pages) and I decided to do something of a mini challenge where I would draw a musician everyday! It was originally gonna be a mix of men and women but per suggestion from my dear mom, I drew ten (techniquely eleven) women! I wanted to challenge myself to be messy and imperfect but as you can see, the drawings ended up being more polished than expected and while proud of what I made, I still have ways to go before I can "imperfect".
Despite everything, it was still a fun ten day challenge and I do think some strengths popped up in that time! Mayhaps some variety/a dent in same face syndrome?

1980s album covers
“Barrera ends our conversation optimistically, remarking that she has no regrets over the events of the last few months, only immense gratitude, as she prepares for the release of her next film, Your Monster, a horror romance directed by Caroline Lindy. ‘I don’t regret anything. I’m very appreciative of all the support that I’ve gotten from my team, my friends, and my family. And from many people in the world who have shown me love and support. When I get stopped on the street now, it’s not because I’m recognised for being in a film; it’s mostly someone thanking me for speaking up for Palestine. It’s super weird, but it’s nice. It fills my heart. I’m just so, so grateful.’”
