You don’t get it.  You don’t see the whole picture.  It isn’t justice if a St. Clair or Auditore or Mancini take them out.  How is that justice?  Where is the satisfaction in that?  This is about so much more than just having their names wiped from a borough and by extension, the city.  No, this is about true vengeance, the only kind of justice that truly pays in spades.

I’m not sitting around and waiting for some other family to take them out.  I’m not baring down for a storm Cece.  I want to be the storm.  I want our family to be the storm.  Why are we any less deserving of that than any of the other families?

This is beside the point, We’re not having this full discussion here, at a party where anyone could pick up any part of this conversation.  If you really want to discuss our club and what definitely isn’t happening there, you know where my office is.

Because darling sister, who will pay the high price for taking a life they obviously couldn’t afford?  Who?  Do we let that go?  Do we just explain away our father’s murder, never have them answer for it?  If they could take father’s life so easily without provocation, what makes you think they won’t take another life from our family, without provocation, just as easily as they did the first time? 

Cecelia, I admire your ability to just let this go.  But trust me, whether we enter this fight or not, we’re in the middle of it regardless.  And if one of us is dying, I’d rather it be for a reason other than Russian apathy or their false sense of superiority.

They are not worth the very shit they trudge through to make it out of that cesspool they call home. That is why I’m doing what I’m doing.  I’m not asking you to be on board, merely asking you to step aside, and let me do what is needed for our family.

This is not the way we make them pay, Charlene. I seek for justice just as much as you do, not only for our father but also to our sister, but I don't think that this is the way to make things better. How come doing the same exact thing as them is any good? Our father would never approve this and this enough should be a reason to never use his death as a reason to do it.

I'm not letting this go, I will never let this whole thing go. There is not a day that goes by that I don't fear for every single member of this family and that I don't pray for justice for our sister and our father, but neither of them would want us to put our lives in risk to seek justice in their name's. 

You don't have to do this, Charlie. Listen to me. They are going down on their own, we have good alliances with the other families and the Russians have pretty much the entire city firing their guns against them, just don't get any more involved with this. Let's just put an end on the prostitution business at our club, we don't need that risk on our family's name. 

We can avenge their death by rising above them and being superior instead of going down on the same level as them and taking the Hathaway name to the mud. Let's do what we always do, be better than them.

We are having a successful night, standing up to human slavery, which is something I know at least a few people in here practice as a means of revenue.  Why must you always insist on dampening success with this?  You know my answer, yet you ask away each time as if I’ve ever changed my mind on anything before this subject.

They are going down either way and we do not need to get our hands dirty in the process by doing the same things as them, we are better than that and you know it. Why do you insist on this?

I know that, but I also know that the subject that I want to discuss is not exactly something that we are happy to talk about.

It is lovely, indeed. I'm happy to see that finally some good is happening around here, it's refreshing. Which is why I decided to talk to you that.. it has to stop, what we are doing - your idea to get on the Russians nerves by putting the Vixens to do some extra jobs, we don't need it and I don't want that to backfire on our family, Charlie.
