an artist who plays his/her own music for fun is a good kind of artist. one who you know truly creates music for the passion and not just for the money or the fame. seeing matty singing and playing piano to “somebody else” on adam’s snapchat story was in ways comforting and made me really happy. artists these days forget the true reason why they got into music in the first place. they forget the passion and the love they had for the art. it breaks my heart to see the amount of talented musicians/singers give up their passion cause they felt they were not good enough, or nobody would appreciate the passion and the talent they have. meanwhile, we have multimillionaire artists who have recognition and big labels to their names, who don't even seem to remember why their name is famous. so back to matty singing his own song for fun, I'm just glad to see that we have artists who are still passionate about their career and are grateful for the oppertunities they've been offered and allowed, and that they care for their fanbase and supporters.
