Wanted to post something here so why not Original Characters?

But i gotta get this out there

Donnie, is amazing, my favourite character, mwah perfect

Raph, can get it, any day of the week, call me I’ll be there

Mikey, fantastic, I want to vibe with him all day everyday

Leo…. Is where I run into a problem. Idk what it is about him but it just rubs me the wrong way. It might be the narcissism, but all of them have their moments so idk. It might be that he’s put the others in so much unneeded distress, or maybe it’s his “poster boy” demeanour, or it could be his general attitude

But for Donnie, I guess I love his reluctant but very real emotions he’ll show. He makes these amazing inventions and is so proud of himself for them. They’re his babies, and he goes total fanboy when he finds people who share his interests, note the purple dragons.

And I love the sarcasm so damn much, we get some from the others, notably Leo, but for Donnie especially. Like when he’ll say something, and the others have this dumbfounded look on their face and he just facepalms and explains it simpler, PERFECTION. Like when he was explaining what a library was and they were just like (OvO)(°▽°)(・∀・) the whole time

Honestly it does make sense that Leo and Donnie are the ones with narcissistic tendencies being the middle child, and that Leo’s such a menace exactly because he’s not Donnie. Donnie is a genius and has a precise passion and interest, while Rise!Leo, unlike all the other Leos, isn’t special.

Obviously this is all my opinion and interpretation, but I think Rise!Leo is the classic invisible kid that just wants to be noticed and loved without taking scary responsabilities and unlike all his brothers he doesn’t really have anything “peculiar” about himself? He’s the “face man” not because it’s a talent or anything, it’s just something he WANTS and DECIDED to be because it would put him in the spotlight, while his brother would be in that same spotlight by doing their own things (Raph being strong and acting like a leader/Donnie being a genius and showing off his tech/Mikey being his adorable crazy self, with his art and cooking)
