There was something so uneasy about him that her skin was crawling just from standing in the close proximity of him. “You know you’re never going to get away with what you’re trying to do, right? There’s just no chance in hell that it’ll ever happen.”

she scoffs quietly, knowing the truth but purposefully deciding not to linger on it too long. if selina worried about jonathan she’d have no hair left in six months. calling him a godamn problem would be an understatement — and yet, here she was, on his couch and giving him some precious time to stroll around inside her head. she supposed it was the least she could do. a little like giving a dog a new chew toy — aside from this one wasn’t particularly easy to pull apart and definitely didn’t have a squeaker. 

           ❝ oh come on. i’d think that’s obvious. the dual identity thing is a bit of a giveaway…❞ she smiled, settling as her feet shifted to cross each other the other way.  ❝ it comes with the territory. you know that.  ❞
