Y’all are not taking enough advantage of the fact that this man’s entire existence surrounds the goals of the Bad End Kingdom and serving Pierrot. Like in the event that he survived after Pierrot was defeated by the cures, what would he do? He lost everything that made him the person he was, so now he’s just an empty shell, doomed to wander around without purpose. Or maybe he tries to continue being evil, but he’s defeated every time, leading to an endless loop of failure. Then, what would be the point of trying anymore?

Twas stoked to see your list; Glitter Force was one of my first animes, and so I still hold Smile Precure to a high regard in my mind. Joker truly is a fascinating character :3

As for small details in the drawing itself, there's really only the playing cards being representative of the Doki Doki cast. In my mind, Joker has just zapped them into some cards (I'm pretty sure he did that in Smile anyways, yeah?)

But now im back at my usual sandbox - A Smile Precure Au where Joker is Cure Happy’s relative/Brother - currently thinking about a scene like a big revelation that the girls realized that Sora (real originally name for a 6 grader to come up with😭) is Joker…
