Ben is very glad a certain orange man is no longer in power, and he's not exactly impressed by a certain floppy-haired leader

“I could just have absolute shit luck, if I’m honest. Might explain how I’m always on the wrong end of things…” Knock or no knock. Didn’t seem to matter. “I mean shit, I understand that but damn it’s a reality TV show you’d think people would be a bit more cautious innit? S’a bit bold is all.” 

“That might be true, you are the one cursed with always facing people getting it on around here.” Ben laughed a little, not out of cruelty more because it was kind of funny. “To be honest I have a feeling people don’t mind, they probably find it entertaining.”

‘Oh, I’ve tried all of those. I even tried eating a hot curry while bouncing on the freaking ball. Didn’t work. Mostly it just gave me indigestion. Short of having sex, I’m running outta options and no one wants to have sex with a balloon,’ Gaga admitted with a laugh. ‘It’ll be all worth it when they do come out though. I can’t wait to see Matt and Darren’s faces.’ Being a surrogate was quite the gift. ‘God, I know. They’re almost as untrustworthy as people who sleep wearing socks. — Thanks. So, I know what’s got me so tired, but what about you? What’cha been up to?’

“I’m sorry that I’m out of ideas, never been in the situation myself,” He laughed, “I’m sure you could find a few suitors, you are lady Gaga.” Ben gave her a small nudge. “That’s true, I bet the two of them are absolutely made up.” He was pretty sure he hadn’t seen the two of them without a smile on their face for nine months now, it was great to see, wonderful in fact. “People who wear socks to bed are the people you have to worry about in life. How on earth can they get comfy, wouldn’t you be roasting? I have so many questions for them. I’ve just been working a lot, think it tires me out quicker now cause of the relaxing I’ve done here.” Ben said with a small shrug. He hated lying but sometimes one had to.

‘I think we might be. It’ll give a whole new meaning to the term ‘other half.’’ Camila laughed, wrinkling her nose when Ben suggested she attempt Derby. ‘Uh, no, thanks. I’d like to keep my acting career a little longer and it would be over in seconds if I annihilate an accent on national television.’ Although, she supposed the cameras had seen her do worse during her time here. ‘What can I say? I’m a perfectionist. Gotta be the best. — Respect is earned. Maybe if you stopped the little fuckers from abducting me as often as they do, I’d be nicer,’ she shot right back, poking her tongue out after. ‘Yeah. I’m pretty happy for me too.’ What she had with Jack really did feel like something special. ‘What about you? Anything happening in the romance department? I know it brews around here quicker than Emma Watson brews tea.’

“One day I’ll see you both as conjoined twins, it’s gonna happen.” Ben teased with a chuckle. “You say that but maybe it will make you seem more relatable, they’ll know they aren’t alone in struggling with accents.” Then again even though Ben was British himself, he had a feeling the derby accent was out of his reach to. “Wait isn’t it one of your dreams to be abducted by aliens? Because if so, am I not allowing you to live your dreams? Like a good big brother should.” He assured her, but the smirk on his face showed his joke. “I’ve not really got anything going on, mostly been spending time catching up with friends.” There had been Debs at Christmas and their valentine date. But nothing had happened since and Ben knew better than to count his chickens before they hatched.

DEBBIE: Perfect.

DEBBIE: What are you up to now?

Stef smiled at his offer, shaking her head. ‘Not unless you’ve got the power to encourage these little monsters out. They’re running late.’ Hand pet her bump. Despite the words, however, she sounded more fond than frustrated. She desperately wanted Matt and Darren to finally meet their little ones, but the babbas obviously took after their diva-fathers. ‘Don’t worry, I’m grumpy when people wake me up too. I promise I wouldn’t have done it if my swollen feet weren’t desperate.’ 

“Nope sorry, all I know is the old wives tales, about eating spicy food and balancing on an exercise ball.” He chuckled. He didn’t have kids himself, and all his friends who had, had kids he hadn’t been that involved, so who knew if those were true. “People who aren’t grumpy when they wake up, those are the people you need to be worried about. Don’t worry about it honestly, chill out as much as you like.”

“I thought I had it covered but… turns out some people ignore knocking too. I uh -..” Ashton trailed off with a small shrug and a look before he settled back into the couch easily. “…I guess some people are just too into…whatever they’re doing, you know? Otherwise that’s… usually my method of moving room to room around here though. Just - not foolproof.” 

“Thankfully knocking has always worked for me, but now I think I may have jinxed myself.” Laugh left the male, it was likely he would now walk in on someone. “When you are in the mood you are in the mood, you may not notice the world around you.” They had all been there once or twice. “I don’t think there will ever be a perfect way in here. People are like rabbits.”

‘Oh, I have. I was on a vampire show for a long time. I know the struggle of fake blood. It’s a freaking bitch. — But I’ve never gone out in public still covered! Talk about giving people a fright. Especially if it was the Punisher’s level of blood because that was, like, a lot. Like, more than I thought humanly possible. I’m surprised you weren’t arrested.’

“You don’t expect it to stain as much as it does, because it’s used so much. and yet you painted for days, To be honest I kind of forgot until I saw the look of horror on the cashiers face. Have a feeling the woman probably thought there was a zombie apocalypse was happening. It was after the Ferris wheel fight to, so it was bad.”

DEBBIE: Would you prefer big workaholic?

‘I guess that’s a good part of the show. Catching up with friends. — I’ve got a few still here too.’

“Yeah it really is, seeing my punisher family again was great. How long ago were you here?”

Or that Gwyneth Paltrow candle. ——— Oh, god. I hope that’s not what mine smells of. 

Wait, does that actually smell like what it says on the box? 

‘I’m gonna go ahead and blame Jack. His Derby-ways are rubbing off on me. I’ll be calling everybody the C word soon, just watch,’ Camila joked, speaking of her other half in complete fondness rather than anything else. ‘Besides, aren’t ya forgetting? I was put on this Earth to bug you. It’s my mission.’ That’s what little sisters did, even the ones who weren’t biologically related. Her eyes widened at his theory. ‘Oh, my god. That is such a good point.’ It was difficult to tell whether she was joking or not. She had always believed in the odd rather than the ordinary. ‘Are you their King? Is that why you’re so tired? Ruling an alien empire must be exhausting.’ Okay, fine, she was joking again. ‘Things are.. exceptional. I’ve never been happier.’

“Are you two morphing into one? Now I need to hear your best attempt at a derby accent.” Ben chuckled, Britain really did have a wide variety of accents. “Yeah that’s true, and you do it so well with it, little sisters all around the world should take a page out of your book.” He nudged the woman's knee with his own. “I might just be, I need to get respect somewhere. And we both know I don’t get it from you.” Ben joked with an fake accusing look towards Cami. “I’m really happy for you kid, seriously.”
