talblackâ:
Talia furrowed her eyebrows at his question as she shook her head and started to walk, hoping that Elliot would just follow her. âNo, I donât think we need to. The scent smells kind of close.â She mentioned, wondering if heâd have a reaction to her saying the word âscentâ out loud like that. The two hadnât acknowledged the fact that Talia was a werewolf and hadnât seen each other since before Talia left months ago, so she wondered if in between then heâd come to terms with everything. She knew better than to bring it up, though. And the important thing was finding his sister. âShe doesnât normally miss you picking her up, does she?â
Elliot took off after her. He was taller than her but he still had to speedwalk to catch up. He nodded, adding a, âGood,â for good measure. He hoped it was close and he hoped it was because his sister had decided to sneak off with her friends. Nothing worse. Dear God, nothing worse. âNo. But thereâs a first time for everything, I guess.â She was 13, only a couple of months from 14, and he supposed teenage angst and rebellion werenât that far off. But still, this was Beacon Hills. Anything couldâve happened.
