Everything is temporary; emotions, thoughts, people and scenery. Do not become attached, just flow with it.

When people don’t express themselves, they die one piece at a time. You’d be shocked at how many adults are really dead inside–walking through their days with no idea who they are.

All I want  is something real, something that is terrifying to the touch but far too beautiful  to ever let go of.

The sense of unhappiness is so much easier to convey than that of happiness. In misery we seem aware of our own existence, even though it may be in the form of a monstrous egotism: this pain of mine is individual, this nerve that winces belongs to me and to no other. But happiness annihilates us: we lose our identity.
