Yo! Excited to be a part of this incredible crew that are making this wildly unique series. So many good themes, characters, adventures and songs. I promise this show will surprise everyone’s expectations. Also a big congrats to @sketchshark for sharing her vision with us!

Centaurworld! Dropping on Netflix July 30th (in 2 weeks!!)

Since the very first episode of Centaurworld is up on youtube and the show is premiering in just a few days, I wanted to share the very first thing I made once I started developing the show at Netflix. It was so hard to describe the tone and to tell everyone that yes, I wanted this to be a full-on musical, so I wrote and storyboarded the theme song. At the time, we were at offices in Hollywood that were still under construction, and there were only a few dozen of us working in the early stages of our projects. This rough demo is like a little time capsule—you can hear Horse temp by Elizabeth Ito (who was just beginning “City of Ghosts”), and temp Durpleton vocals by Matt Layzell, who was also just starting out on his pitch for “Battle Kitty”), and me as everyone else. Also, huge thanks to Jessie Wong for doing additional storyboarding help with this!

Centaurworld is out now on Netflix!! I got to paint some lovely backgrounds on this show which I will share on another post! It’s quirky, colorful, heartwarming and you know what else it is? A MUSICAL! Yes the songs are beautiful and will get stuck in your head for days! GO WATCH IT!
