One of the most interesting things about being on the autism spectrum is the amount of research that you can do based on yourself. Like, I learned that short hair for women on the autism spectrum is preferred. Which, when looking back to when I was a kid and cut my hair for the first time, was more than likely because it was giving me a sensory-related issue from it being on my neck. And part of me wearing my hair up was because of my mom, but it was also part of the same sensory thing. Another thing is I didn't like brushing my hair because my scalp is a sensitive spot for me, same with my feet. But there's so much to research about autism and the interesting and sometimes weird things that come with it.
Name one or more of things that you recently learned how to do. I'll go first. I learned how to make pancakes this morning. How to get a business started. How tax forms for said business work. How to design products designs for the store. How to communicate better. How to find what made me go no contact with one of my siblings. Find balance with air conditioning during the day and at night. And who and what makes me happy.
So i decided to do a funny should I questions with one of my magic 8 balls. I first asked if I should ask my crush out. It said yes. I asked if I should do it today. 8 ball said yes. I asked if it was sure i should do it today. It said that it was certain. Now the kicker comes in here. I asked it if it's certain because my parents don't know that i have a crush on another woman. It said no.
Turns out it was fucking with me the entire time. I almost had a full on anxiety attack over the thought of asking my crush out.

Friendly reminder!
If you’re using bases to draw characters remembering to credit the person who made it! Also insert the link to the creator's DA, Toyhouse, Tumblr, etc. You aren't gonna take credit for someone else's work. Even if they say it's free to use just give them credit for making the damn thing.
I'm guilty of forgetting to do it myself after hours of drawing. I simply forget to put credit to whoever made the base.

I'm not sure if I'm the only one this has happened to recently, but on Thursday this week something changed, I can't describe it that good but I'll try to see if I can make it seem like I'm not just overlooking something.
To start off, I said screw you to ChatGPT and deleted my account, I've been waking up altogether in a better mood than before, I'm being more active in the pool than I used to, and I've genuinely been a lot happier.
Now some of you might be thinking that this is all because I'm being more active. It's not just that though. I woke up Thursday morning like this. And it felt like a switch was suddenly flicked on in my brain chemicals overnight for some reason.
I'm not complaining about the new found energy here. I'm just wondering if anyone else is experiencing this mental shift too. Also my language when I'm alone has really cleaned up since the shift. I honestly am unable to swear anymore which is actually a good thing I think. Also the world is seemingly brighter to me but also dull at the same time. Like my brain says that there's supposed to be more color in the world but my eyes are arguing back saying that the world is now so monochrome now days.
Anyways, if anyone else has experienced the same kind of mental shift please let me know so I know I'm not alone.
Found out that I was in a 13 year long functional freeze. And all the energy I'm experiencing is from pent up energy from the freeze.
Basically, I went from being happy 11 year old to a stressed 12 year old to a then emotionally frozen 13 - 26 year old. 2012 was a very traumatic and stressful year for me because of the family drama that was happening at the time.
Thursday was the official thaw day for me and I'm once again feeling joy and excitement over family trips and just hanging out again with my family.
