FAQ:
Question: “can I use your art in my pfp, social media post, tattoo, etc?”
Answer: yes, you can use my art in ANY way you want, you don’t even have to credit me if you don’t want to, I don’t mind at all :) I do not create my art for any kind of monetary gain, I do it simply because I want to.
Question: “do you take commissions?”
Answer: I have in the past and may in the future, but, at the moment, I am not taking commissions. I have a relatively busy life and a lot of big events coming up so I won’t have the time to take commissions for now. This doesn’t mean I won’t participate in the occasional collaboration or giveaway.
Question: “what are you other social media accounts?”
Answer: I have a TikTok, instagram, and Pinterest, all under the same username :)
Question: “what are some art tips you can give someone looking to improve?”
Answer: I am mostly self taught, although I have had classes and been to art school, the most effective way to learn is by being consistent. I don’t believe there are any quick cheats to becoming a good artist, but I can suggest some practices and tips that have helped me the most.
- observational drawing. Drawing from life has helped me progress the fastest and it’s surprisingly different from drawing from a photo, though both are effective.
- shading in large shapes and keeping detail to a minimum in areas of shadow, this will help your work look less muddy and more refined.
- have a good variety of soft and sharp edges. This will help show depth, and prevent a flat, overly complicated drawing.
- the less brush strokes used to convey a form the better, this is still something I am working on myself. Having confidence in your lines is the best way to achieve this.
Hope this helps answer any of your questions, feel free to ask anything :)
