As the title says, the Darkbane need to be scarier to justify why them breaking out of the deep caverns and making it to the surface is so bad, because, as they are in canon, they are not beating the US Military. Hell, depending on which part of North America the Drop reaches, they could end up dealing with Canadians who will treat the Geneva Convention as the Geneva Checklist with impunity, or trigger-happy Americans who are all too happy to play Live Action Doom Eternal. (I'm not going to mention Mexico or the rest of Central America, as I don't think the Drop is close enough for the Darkbane to reach before getting wiped out.)

At this point I'm going to assume that the fandom will eventually reach the unified agreement that Shane will pick on Sawyer if he has a love interest even though Sawyer probably never picks on Shane for it (Sawyer dropping the argument the moment Shane mentions Caroline, Sawyer telling Shane to talk to Dusty)

also if shane tries to give you love advice don't listen he has NO idea what he's on about JAJSJS he's a good flirter, especially with people he doesn't know bc he's naturally charming and it's also a good way to manipulate people into giving him what he wants but when it comes to matters of the heart... dusty is literally tearing her hair out over him because he will not. advance out of a situationship with her (but he's also kinda here and there with caroline so it's kinda understandable?)

I don't think that Ollie would outright resent Sawyer over Julian, but he would be hurt. Like, Yeah, I'd see Ollie picking on Sawyer if he gets a love interest, but I don't Ollie would be passive aggressive or irritating about it like Shane would be. Ollie would poke fun, but in the end, I feel he'd be so happy that his best friend has found someone.

I can totally see Sawyer being like "wait, White eyes likes ME, oh fuck" because it's pretty evident that Ollie is all over the Conduit. THE MOMENT SAWYER REALIZES HE CAUGHT FEELINGS THOUGH HE'S LIKE "OH FUCK."

It might be THE thing that would put tension between Sawyer and Ollie, where Ollie is visibly hurt while Sawyer is just wallowing in guilt.

ollie's definitely the kind of friend who would ignore his needs for someone else if asked (he picked up the effigies despite getting burnt bc of his demon just because shane asked, he helps sawyer kill people not outta obligation but bc he just likes feeling useful and wants to help). so he finds out sawyer likes julian and would DEFINITELY push him in that direction (both figuratively and literally, like you said LMAOO)

I keep forgetting abt you hc about Sawyer and Ollie's ages, but they're kinda making Sawyer seem like a single dad of two (Ollie and Sid, unless you're also going to count Shane because despite her drinking problem, Dusty seems self sufficient)
