From my first shoot with @alaskamauve back in 2016, we've been online friends for years and when we shot this, the shoot was fire. I was going through my queue around Halloween and whipped this up in my warmups. I love the fresher look of this set with how my skills have grown. It's kind of a reminder that your potential doesn't just hit a peak, not if you keep training yourself. I miss Alaska but I'm excited for the future and I'm sure we'll make more art again soon. There will be more from this set when my life is less chaotic. "Truthseeker" was heavily cathartic for me. My dad had died two weeks before and all I felt was pain, I couldn't find a moment to grieve between doing all the major things I didn't expect to be doing for my elderly mother who had just lost the man she had loved over half her life. My sister told me to make sure I didn't burn myself out, but I never take myself into account during a time like that to understand what my limits are. @sugartabi came into my life with such kindness and warmth and allowed for me to take a moment to really feel the weight of my grief.
