What ever you do, don't think about how Ugarth taught Sylnan how to read the stars at night. Don't think about those two haggling people at card games and getting into bar fights when they got caught. Don't think about how they would have narrowly escaped when things got dire just to stop and catch their breath against a wall. Don't think about how they would have started laughing once they realized that they got away. Don't think about how proud Ugarth would have been when Sylnan looked up and knew exactly which way to go to get back home. Don't think about how Sylnan would have told Br'aad all sorts of fun stories behind the constellations to try and teach him. Don't think about how Br'aad would have missed the whole point and just loved listening to the stories. Don't think about Sylnan eagerly asking Ugarth for more so he could share them with Br'aad when they got home. Don't think about how Ugarth just pulled these stories out his ass because it delighted Sylnan to no end but he didn't have any more. Don't think about Sylnan drawing stars on his ceiling because they made him feel better. Don't think about how now whenever Sylnan looks at the sky he hears Ugarth's voice repeating those old stories. Don't think about how painful it must be to be able to read this one thing and have it haunted for him. Don't think about Sylnan whispering these stories to himself on nights where he can't sleep because he's terrified that if he forgets them now, hell forget Ugarth. Don't think about how angry he must be when night falls and he stares up at the stars and has to live with the knowledge that he chose his father over Ugarth.
