TODAY at 5 PM. . CAMPO LARGO UBUD . We will have a 47-minutes film screening and discussion with Matteo Graziano. . He is a director and choreographer for contemporary dance. In the early of May, he collaborated with Istituto Italiano Di Cultura Jakarta (Institut Kebudayaan Italia Jakarta) to had a video dance workshop. . His main works are in contemporary dance production, opera, and music theatre while he also been involved in experimental projects, which include participatory formats, architectural and site-specific interventions. . Matteo would like to connect with people through this event and to exchange ideas around video dance and architecture. Kemarin, @giantigiadi dan @santiasa.putu.putera bersama dengan @odataratna, @djunaidikenyut, dan @dwis_wibowo berkunjung ke @tamanbacakesiman untuk bertemu dengan Bu @okarusmini. Beliau adalah salah satu outside eye (mata liyan) dalam proses residensi Bare Journal. Dalam devised theatre (teater rancangan), mata liyan diperlukan untuk melihat kemungkinan potensi yang bisa muncul atau dikembangkan. Dalam video ini, Gigi sedang menceritakan stimulus ruang dan narasi yang menginspirasinya untuk menciptakan sebuah karakter bernama Plastisia - yang kemudian ditanggapi oleh Bu Oka sebagai salah satu bentuk semangat ekofeminisme. Menarik sekali ya jika mata liyan berasal dari latar belakang yang berbeda. Referensi yang didapat pun makin kaya. Besok sore, kami akan berkumpul kembali di @omahapik.pejengbali untuk bertemu dan berbagi dengan para mata liyan lain. BARE JOURNAL 2017 VOL.III Artist Residency Showcase Interactive journals, theatrical exploration, talk and discussion. . We would like to invite you to come at our artist residency showcase - tomorrow, 20 May, 2017 - start at 6 PM. . The showcase will be opened with a brief introduction session of Bare Journal and the devised theatre as the residency method; as well as the projection of the residency incubation result. . In this journal showcase, visitors are welcome to read the collaborators’ journals which are currently being displayed as well as to leave comments and/or critics on it. . Visitors will also be invited to participate in the process of Bare Journal through creative stimuli which done with the collaborators. These stimuli are used to generate ideas throughs sound, space, color, texture, and motion. . As the closing event, we will have a discussion and a theatrical exploration from the collaborators which served as the first draft of the upcoming performance. .
