For the past few hours…
Please stop for a moment and listen to me. Last night, at 1:30 AM, when everything was supposed to be quiet, a metal monster rolled behind the yellow line its roar shook our hearts before it shook the ground. We froze. My family gathered in the dark, not knowing if we would survive the next minute. The “safe zone” we were told about turned into a joke. A lie. A cover. At 2:18 AM, the whole place exploded. Glass flew like knives, smoke choked us, and the smell of gunpowder filled our lungs. My siblings screamed, and all I could do was hold them and And praying that the debris doesn’t fly over us. And all of this happened after the so-called “ceasefire.” Please, understand what we’re living through. The fear is eating us alive.
