        there was no way that he was going to be able to get through the kenku, was there? a sigh would leave his lips, followed by a gentle shrug of his shoulders. “i can’t tell you, mate. everyone raises their children differently, so… it’s all up to you decide. and don’t you freak out on me just because i said that, alright?” seriously, it was mind-blowing that he managed to get this far, there had to be at least some common sense in that brain of his.

        all he could bring himself to do was shrug. in all honesty, there was a part that wished anya would back off for pluck’s sake, but the bigger part was thankful that her attention was directed somewhere that wasn’t him. “someday she’ll get the message… i think. who knows?” it was out of their hands, at the very least. “don’t lump the rest of us in the same category as anya, okay? it’s not like there were better ideas being thrown out there and now you need to stop letting her get to you.”

        now he knew that he couldn’t exactly refute anything that he was saying and it wasn’t as if anyone any time soon would be able to figure out exactly how any’a mind works. then again, he doesn’t think that he ever wants to know. “well, i think it would be fair to say that none of us want to be her friend, but she’s pretty much given up on the rest of us. don’t take it too personally, mate.” he knew that wasn’t so much of an apology and he couldn’t really bring himself to care all that much.
