✘— Feeding the black hole
— [♛];; Giving the other one of his blank expression for a moment, it didn’t take him more than a few seconds before a grin broke out on his face. Of course the other would complain at first, he always did, but if he gave up like that so wouldn’t he be himself at all. Giving up were for the weak and if he was certain of one thing so was it the part that he’s not weak. Plus there’s the fact that Shinji’s food was on stake and he didn’t want to miss out on that, someone else might do that, but not he. He quite enjoyed eating the other’s food after all, so giving up was out of the question.
"Nope, you’re my one and only."
With a shrug, Aomine began to look over the other’s form in search for any clue that the other had already made something. He’d certainly smell it then, but sometimes even his nose failed him when searching for food. It was a waste to only make food for himself as well when he made food like that, therefore so had Aomine made it his own mission to get food from the other as often as he could; Basically whenever he was n the area and had time to do such, which wasn’t as often as he wanted.
Really though, the brunet should just have accepted this reality by now. He had already been over here a few times before by now, just showing up when he wanted to do it. Even he could notice that the other weren’t quite happy about it, but that didn’t matter when he got food on the table. And if he actually didn’t want to make food so would he just slam the door in his face right? Which made him come to the conclusion the other did want to make food, he was just being against it for some reason.
“I don’t want to stand out here all day— So can I just come inside already?”
These hallways weren’t what he wanted to stay inside of all day, they were cold and just boring; At least the other’s apartment had some warmth. After all he prefered warmth over cold any day, even during the summer. Well, it depended whenever he was dying from the heat or not, in those situations so would he admit that he did prefer the cold. That was only during those moments however, otherwise so would he say he wanted it to be hot outside and not cold like it would become during the winter.
As he folded his arms over his chest and directed a particularly annoyed and exasperated expression at his visitor, Shinjiro rolled his eyes at the other man’s persistence. While he supposed that he should be flattered that Aomine was so enthusiastic about his cooking, the random visits that always came without any sort of text or warning first were starting to get old. Not that Shinjiro could ever turn down anyone’s request for food. This had always been his greatness weakness, and Aomine had figured that one out pretty effortlessly much to his chagrin.
"Nope, you’re my one and only."
“Tch. Lucky me,” the brunet muttered under his breath. However, it didn’t look like Aomine was going to easily back down from his request any time soon. With a small sigh, Shinjiro slid back from the door and propped it open with the toe of his boot, giving Aomine just enough time to slink in behind him before the brunet turned on his heel and let the door fall shut behind him.
“You’re out of luck tonight,” Shinjiro called out over his shoulder as he headed into his painfully small kitchenette. “Haven’t been grocery shopping in a while, and I haven’t made dinner yet today.” Shaking his head, Shinjiro opened up the fridge as if to confirm this unfortunate fact before he glanced back over at Aomine. “But I think I can improvise. What do you want to eat? Nothing fancy though--this isn’t a restaurant.”
The latter was a fact that Shinjiro reminded his friend of time and time again, and yet that didn't stop the other male from making some pretty interesting requests from time to time. Truthfully, Shinjiro was a little curious as to what kind of food Aomine was planning to request tonight, but he kept an expression of feigned indifference on his face as he looked over at the other male. At the end of the day, beggars couldn't be choosers.
