Revenant prepped a Silence as he neared the top of the hill. Creeping low, he flung the device as soon as he had a clear shot - and no sooner than it was thrown, and the enemy Legend spotted him, shouting something to her teammate.
She was TOO LATE to avoid the Silence; her smoke and artillery strike would be locked up. She had nowhere to run, and NOWHERE TO HIDE. Revenant had drawn his weapon just after pitching the Silence, but despite being disoriented, Bangalore had already shifted her aim and found her mark. Shots were traded: the simulacrumâs shields were hit hard before he ducked back down along the cliff.
Dealing with another LEGEND made this more complicated. But it didnât change that Bangalore and her teammate were badly pinched and couldnât afford to CHASE, or else whoever was down by the waterfall would surely take the zip in pursuit. So in the meantime, Revenant was reloading, charging his shields again⌠But he was not going to let this be a standoff.
âAnother Legendâs up there. We have to take her out before her airstrikeâs back online,â he warned. By then, the ring would limit their OPTIONS. More than that, Revenant was in no state to take that kind of hit.
â yeah, yeah, i SEE that, â newcastle answers a bit more TERSELY than he had intended for it to come across, but he only hoped that the understandable STRESS that were the games (especially the stress that came with still being relatively new) was a good enough cover for his seemingly RATTLED disposition.
jackson would have felt worse if his accidental venom effected any other of his fellow competitors, but he didnât feel that way with revenant. something told him that a little venom didnât bother something like him.
â well, ways i see it, â the new legend begins to look around, assessing their situation and their options. â going back down is a death sentence. we donât have a choice but to just take it from them with some good olâ fashion BRUTE FORCE. â with his walls in place, it should either pressure anita and her squad off the ledge to their doom, or force them to rush his barriersââwhich, at this point, should be common knowledge that it wasnât a very good idea.
eventually, his broad smile shows itself, practically REFLECTING the sunshineâs brightness with how confident he was in his plan. â just follow me and weâll be KINGS of the ring. â with that, jackson SLAPS revenant on the shoulder before moving to his feet once more. with his castle walls in hand, his jumpkit was switched on and newcastle began to sail in the air. anitaâs head turned again their direction when she undoubtedly caught the SWIFT rise and descent of his shadow over her.Â
the very second his knees make contact w the muddy dirt beneath, electric walls ascend from the ground. no sooner than that, jackson produces a wingman from his back... notably moving the sight AWAY from his sister and begins to directly fire at her squadmate.
