A Multi-Generation Family Portrait

Nothing outstanding, just something I’ve had in mind to do for a while and finally got bored enough to do it. I’ve been collecting Nikon film SLR cameras off that auction site. These represent what I think is an unbroken chain from the F, front center, of around 1957, to the F6, top center, from around 2004 to the present. On a cycling outing at White Rock Lake on Friday, Christy and I noticed some wood ducks, a lot of drakes, near where we parked. A Failed Infrared Mission

I wanted to use the 4 x 5 camera with Rollei IR film to shoot something. I wound up with this. Actually, I tried other subjects, but the film base is so insubstantial that when I’d go to reinsert the darkslide into the holder after the exposure, the edge of the film would catch the edge of the slide and crimp the film.
