Woo art!

Might redo this one at some point but for now it’s ok in my eyes. I suck at drawing elaborate clothes so I wanted to draw my WoL in something cute. I would totally mod this in the game if I knew how.

Nothing much to say about this one, just Maya feeling more confident in the dress instead of flustered. Kind of want to write her as someone who gains confidence instead of being a big ball of nerves. Just a random note lol

Wanted to mess with more brushes in CSP while getting more pics done. This time of Cara in her usual outfit. I drew the original sketch awhile back but I’m pretty sure I haven’t posted it.

Getting back to art didn’t like how the old wedding Maya pic looked so I redid it. Tons better.

On Twitter, I made a sketch of Leopold and Beau as, at the time, they were my only faves on my island. I wasn’t proud of the line work as I’m getting back into drawing so I wanted to make it look better. Going to draw my other faves as I get them on my island.

Finished this last week and forgot to post it. Getting back into drawing once more and what better way than to draw Maya in this dress again. This time not as flustered, probably because I don’t really write her as someone who gets flustered often anymore.

This isn’t a new pic per say, but something I wanted to do after figuring out how to do it in Medibang. I’m thinking of making a separate blog of my oc designs so they’re not in the way of my other art, but I have their full body basic design somewhere (for commission/request convenience) and this is just one I had finished.

All that rambling aside, this is just something for fun. Castle had a different design when I first created her, it was an amalgamation of clothing items from video game characters, the only thing that was her was green converses because I had them irl at the time. She didn’t have leggings and the scarf was tattered.

I never draw enough throughout the year to do a year-in review, but why not a decade review? This is a selection of my art from 2010-2019.

I have no clue how to use watercolors in the intended way traditionally or digitally but I like the end result.

My fave minion/mount/enemy from Final Fantasy 14 is Korpokkur and I had to draw one at some point. Most of this was at like 2 am so eventually a redraw is planned but as a first attempt, it’s good enough for me.

Decided to take a couple of sketches and take them through Medibang. I love drawing characters of my pantheon and these two are ones that I’m really proud of. First one is the goddess of ice Kouri the other is an older version of the god of dimensions Tarik.

Also somewhat experimenting with shading with a light source rather than just shading willy nilly, still got a ways to go.

I missed a spot on the shirt in the old one plus I wanted to give my mayor my hair color since her name is Castle. Eventually I'm going to do a group pic with all of my Castles and Evelyns and I wanted her look to look more like me (also planning on making an Evelyn when the Switch AC comes out)

Awhile ago I did a sketch of this much similar to the Maya one but only now did I made it into digital art.

Anyway this is one of my Stardew Valley characters aptly named Castle. I have designs for her and Evelyn for the Flower Dance and wedding since the game doesn’t give you it and I want to expand my horizons.

I wanted the detail colors of her dress to reflect who she was marrying (Harvey) same with Evelyn but she doesn’t have a picture like this. Though I don’t think she was married in the spring in my first playthrough.

Let me tell you, doing digital art on a computer is 10x better than doing digital art on a laptop. So now I’m slowly getting back into digital art but I’m still in love with pencil sketching.

So once again here’s “Good Ending Maya” now in color!

While there isn’t multiple endings in my story I still like to call this a good ending for her for a lot of reasons; while she keeps the positives of being a vampire, she’s for the most part cured, she gets her natural hair and eye color back, and she gets to marry Riven.
