In honor of #TransformationTuesday and my two year anniversary with #TheStrengthDistrict. I was overweight for most of my life and failed to become healthier more times than I can count. But now I can say I did the damn thing 😭 It was by far one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do, where I was pushed both physically and mentally on a daily basis. It really wasn’t easy at all, but I started somewhere and look where it led me to. It wasn’t about making it just a diet, but rather than making it a lifestyle. Sometimes I don’t recognize the person in some of these photos and to be honest, I cringe when I stumble upon old photos of me. But it’s a testimony of how far I’ve come and yet to be on this journey. With consistency and pure hard work, anyone can achieve the same thing. So this is for anyone and everyone who needs a little motivation to start somewhere, I promise you it’s so worth it. It took many years for @dan.tsd to convince me to start working with him but honestly my life changed for the better when I did. Thank you for being my support through the highs and lows of this journey. For constantly pushing me beyond limits at 5:30am in the gym and never letting me stay complacent.
